After a thrilling trailer for Season 3, a new featurette for Preacher has been released by AMC, and it contains more exciting footage of the new characters coming to the upcoming third season of the show.
In the wake of last week’s wild trailer, AMC has released a brand-new featurette for the third season of Preacher, which is set to premiere later this month on Sunday, June 24.
Like the recent trailer, the featurette for the AMC series focuses heavily on Jesse Custer’s ancestral home of Angelville and the people that reside there. While it isn’t all new footage, the latest featurette does provide some new snippets of Jesse’s “family,” including the evil Gran’ma.
Also, we get some insightful comments from members of the cast and crew on the obstacles facing Jesse and his friends in Season 3 and the significance of Angelville.
Preacher is the story of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), a conflicted preacher in a small Texas town who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that allows him to develop a highly unconventional power. Jesse embarks on a journey to, literally, find God, joined by his ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun).
