Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes on the hit AMC show The Walking Dead, chatted a little with Entertainment Weekly about season two.

"I think the second season is going to be even more emotionally charged and dig even deeper into these survivors handling surviving Why them? Where do they go? What do they do now," he said. "The CDC was their big hope and that's gone so the future is bleak, but humans also have a strong survival instinct."

The Walking Dead is set to resume later this year.

Cool, but I really hope they don't lose focus on the actual zombies... Half the episodes of the first season barely had any zombies in there. And I know Kirkmans comics zombies have always been the backseat thing and it was really about the humans interactions with each other but still.

I hope that this more emotional thing that they are adding to the show won't kill it the season. Season 1 was perfect.

Are they still filming in Atlanta for season two? I remember last time around they blocked off about two blocks for a straight month it seemed like, but the finished product was so worth the inconvenience.

This show being 'more emotional' is exactly what it DOESN'T need. That was my only complaint about season 1, it needed a little more action. Now they're gunna bog it down with even more emotional drama. booo

Absolutely love the show, so I started reading the graphic novels. I just finished the third and I'm about to start the fourth. With season two being more episodes, they should go to the farm and the prison all in season two. Lots of great new characters to use and and some really interesting story lines for them to develop

I hope they at least get as far as the prison. End the season with the helicopter crash. That'd give plenty of room for everything between: SHANE, Wiltshire, Hershel's farm, introduction of Tyreese and Machonne, the incident with Tyreese's daughter and her boyfriend, the serial killer, and hopefully killing off the people who aren't supposed to be there to begin with, lol. Not likely that they'll cover all that, but I hope they get somewhere close. It'd be awesome to have the arc with the Governor setup for the entirety of season 3.

No, no, I think he said "dog shit"

Personally, I think he was full of bullshit, but then again I'm just a fan of the site who doesn't want to see that on our forum.
