AMC released a new trailer earlier today that should get The Walking Dead fans excited for the continuation of season 10 next month!

According to the press release, the next six episodes will find the survivors picking themselves up following the destruction that the Whisperers left in their wake. The years haven't been kind and past traumas begin to surface, exposing their more vulerable sides. As they question the state of humanity, their collective community, and the state of their minds, will they find the inner strength to persevere with their lives, friendships, and group intact?

The trailer is sure to please The Walking Dead fans as it sees a possible return to form for Jeffrey Dean Morgan's "Negan" (could it be a flashback?). It also looks like everyone's favorite barb wired bat, "Lucille", is set to make an appearance. There's a lot to see in the trailer, including a lot of fan-favorite characters as well as a few new faces... You'll want to make sure you watch until the end of the trailer!

New guest stars in these six episodes will include Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Perry Mason), Hilarie Burton Morgan (One Tree Hill, White Collar), Okea Eme-Akwari (Greenland, Cobra Kai), and others.

The 10th season of The Walking Dead will return on Sunday Febrary 28 at 9:00pm ET/PT. All six episodes will also be available on AMC+. They will debut early, every Thursday prior to the episodes' airing on AMC and will being streaming on February 25th.

I tried my best and stayed with this show till season 8. After season 5, this show has literally become THE WALKING DEAD.

@TheOverseer - I don't think you're the only one :)

I've actually liked season 10 for the most part... Probably because I let the episodes build up and then binge them :P

That's comic accurate.

@NateBest - Do you think it's worth it to watch again from season 9 onwards?

@TheOverseer - If you can binge them? Absolutely.

Keep in mind that I'm kind of a TWD nerd... and I'm pretty easily entertained if I have treats :P

@TheOverseer - You left RIGHT before the show got good again... S9 was incredible. I’ve heard good things about S10 as well

@Reeds2Much - There were signs it was going to become very bad as soon as they wrapped up Terminus. That was when Gimple took full control and he started adapting the goofy comic book too closely. Negan was a joke. The way they killed Glenn was something fans thought was going to be so great. But fans are often wrong! Glenn had unintentionally become the true heart of the show. The protagonist people related to the most. To kill him in such an over the top, stupid way, it was a mistake the series couldn't overcome. They traded away Glenn and Abe for a potential, few days of fans being pacified about having at last, seen the infamous Glenn death from the comics.

But fans immediately realized, after they got what they thought they wanted, that it was not something they enjoyed.

I think that it caused the actors to enjoy doing the series much less as well. Similar to Andrew Lincoln not enjoying doing the series as much without the Rick-Carl dynamic.

That will be a Negan dream sequence.

@thewanderer - I'm thinking dream or memory as well...

@thewanderer - yeah looks like old Negan is talking to the new Negan to "let him in". The one visible has dark hair, where current Negan is looking older/grey.

@thewanderer - the final episode of the season will be based on the Here's Negan comic. That episode will focus on Negan's backstory, such as his wife Lucille dying of cancer.

I’m not paying to watch it aside from it’s coming on a streaming service already have. Not getting cable again!

Nah. This will be another stagnant, unbelievable and padding filled "hallucination" or "ghost" which The Walking Dead has made so famously cringe and boring.

It's ridiculous how many main characters have interacted will full embodiments of people, as if there were a living person next to them. Do they all have full blown schizophrenia?? It's such a cheap writing trick and means nothing because it's not even real.

It's so annoying and eye rolling whenever they do this stupid stuff. It's super cheesy and S10 was full of it.

Ironically, this show has been eating itself alive for the past 5 years.

Put a fork in it already.
