Although Season 10 of The Walking Dead technically concluded last October, the zombie drama series will return on February 28 for the first of 6 "bonus episodes," and AMC has now released a stylish new trailer and some key art.

Though the promo doesn't really feature any footage from the upcoming episodes, it does contain dialogue from some of the main characters, and it certainly sounds like Maggie and Negan might be heading for a showdown.

Maggie returned in the season finale, and although she didn't appear to see (acknowledge?) Negan, you can bet she's going to have something to say about her friends joining forces with the man who brutally murdered her husband.

Negan already found himself starring down the barrel of Maggie's gun back when he was locked in a cell in Alexandria, but she chose to spare him after coming to the realization that he longed for death, and that leaving him to rot would be the best revenge.

Something tells us she won't feel quite the same when she sees him swinging Lucille again!

“Maggie has returned with a story she is not ready to share, even when her past catches up to her. Negan's safety is at stake again.”

Do you guys plan on checking out these bonus episodes of The Walking Dead, or have you lost interest in the show altogether? Let us know in the comments section.

I dropped off midway through season 7.

Question to anyone still watching this:

Is it worth going back?

@SpaceAgent - I think it improved quite a bit over the past couple of seasons. It's still nowhere near as good as it once was and there are some terrible episodes here and there, but overall it's pretty compelling.

@SpaceAgent - the first two seasons were awesome, I literally stopped after they killed Carl. I was super bored with it.

@MrDandy - Then you stopped watching a long time ago. 5 or 6 have been there since season at least 3.

Granted, they should have killed some of them off and kept good ones.

@inkniron - the show started to really drag after season 2 for me. Lol but I stayed invested for a while. Just could take it anymore.

@Poopmaster89 - Even though some of it was rehashing the same threat in a different form, it was enjoyable enough for me through the season they killed Carl. After that, it wasn't the same. He was always set up to be the John Connor of the story and it just fell flat for me. I mean, they always said anyone could die, and most of them should, but he should have been the exception.

Honestly it just feels dull and characters just make weird decisions. It felt more natural many seasons ago. Certain key characters/actors just added another dimension to the show and the less episodes. With them gone,, it lost flavor. I wasn't a fan of Gimple, and Kang has made some improvements. I'm only watching it to finish it. Reminds me of Lost. Blew me away in the beginning, going somewhere great; then just falls off the rails.

Personally I'm not interested in the new teen related "Dead" series, but "Fear The Walking Dead" certainly improved with each subsequent season, and "The Walking Dead" probably not as good as when Andrew Lincoln was still part of the cast but I still find it worthwhile. To each his or her own I guess.

Hasn't the title of this show become ironic by now?
