Zombie Mob for AMC's Walking Dead Revealed

An AICN scooper managed to snag a few pictures of The Walking Dead zombies, which is currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

Yesterday we had our first official look at Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes for AMC's new TV series The Walking Dead. Now, courtesy of AICN, we can see a glimpse of the zombie hoard that will plague the cast members when the show premieres later this year:

"I shot these photos from my bedroom window. My building overlooks the set for The Walking Dead. A friend suggested I send these on to you guys. Hopefully you guys can use these. Let me know what you think and I will send along some more.

"The cops chased me off before i got some good flics, hopefully these are awesome enough. i found myself a copy of the production schedule, hope to get a few more."











The Walking Dead, based off of Robert Kirkman's popular comic series, also stars Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey DeMunn, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, and Michael Rooker. The live-action series pilot is being directed by Frank Darabont.

@Mixbreed, No it's not! It's a TV show based on The Walking Dead! It's absolutely brilliant, I would defo reccomend picking your self up a copy of it!

how cool would it be to look out your window and see that. hope they told everyone though so people didnt really think a zombie apocalypse was going on he they woke up.

Running zombies are not scary. The slow ones who always manage to catch up to you are the creepiest and scariest.

No offense all...but just because some of the zombies have long strides doesn't mean they are running..."Keven" is probably right they are stumbling...if you notice each zombie in that pic has their own walk/stumble they are doing to each be unique...until the picture moves don't come to conclusions that aren't proven in the pic...

The zombies won't be running at top speed (like 28 days), but they also won't be stumbling around either. If you read the books, you can tell they just sort of walk around purposeless until something catches their attention. At this point, they do pick up some speed but don't ever sprint toward people.

I am loving every bit of news I get on this show. I went from skeptical to super hyped up.

Running or not the ones in the 2nd pic are "quickly shambling toward food."

Just read book eleven and Damn I hope they make Abraham a complete badass complete w/ handlebar moustache. That guy is THE MAN!!

I've only read the first volume. I kinda lost interest, but this show is looking good. Frank Darabont should direct the entire show. And I hope the zombies just walk, not run. It's The Walking Dead, not The running Dead.
