LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: The Team Is Stuck In 1925 In The First Official Promo For Season 7

After a few weeks off, DC's Legends of Tomorrow returns for its seventh season next month, and to give us a small preview, The CW has released an official promo for the first few episodes!

Following a very short hiatus, DC's Legends of Tomorrow will soon be back for its seventh season, which will kickstart on Wednesday, October 13. To get fans excited for another year of crazy hijinks, The CW has released the first official promo for the show's fall return.

However, it looks like the time-traveling will have to take a bit of a pause, as, if you remember, the Legends currently find themselves stuck in 1925 after a mysterious ship - very similar to their own - crashed their victory celebration and blew up their Waverider.

While we can probably assume they'll eventually find their way out of this predicament, it looks like the season's opening hour, at least, will see the team get acclimated to their new environment. But it doesn't look like it's going to go all that well, which causes Ava (Jes Macallan) a great deal of stress.

The returning main cast will feature Caity Lotz as Sara Lance, Tala Ashe as Zari Tarazi, Jes Macallan as Ava Sharpe, Olivia Swann as Astra Logue, Adam Tsekhman as Gary Green, Shayan Sobhian as Behrad Tarazi, Lisseth Chavez as Esperanza "Spooner" Cruz, Amy Louise Pemberton as Gideon, Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Steel, and Matt Ryan as Dr. Gwyn Davies.

Not looking forward to this season, or this show anymore to be honest. I'm pretty much over and done with caring about this show after this past season. It's been multiple seasons in the making, beginning with the very weak S4, but I'm tired of this show. It needs to end. It is such a hollow shell if its former self, and it feels like a wandering, clueless, and soulless mess anymore.

That season 6 finale was a dumpster fire episode- between the stupid and childish wedding, the stupid Spooner "let's break the rules again" storyline, and the slap in the face to fans and extremely poorly written and handled exit for a character of four seasons for Constantine. That whole Constantine/Zari 2.0 relationship was handled poorly in the final couple episodes. All of this was a shame, because Constantine was probably the strongest part of the season and Matt Ryan gave some great performances, such as in the 3rd to last episode. But then again, this show largely mishandled Constantine and never really knew how to handle or integrate him into the team.

Anyways, it's hard to care anymore about the characters on the team. The beat ones are gone, Rory is about to leave, and Sara's storylines usually arent that interesting anymore (the first half of s6 was good for her but then all that potential basically evaporated in the back half). Long gone are the Legend's Beebo glory days- how sad.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Rory stepping down from full-timer is probably the straw for me, especially considering how little they used him the last two seasons.. I mean, I'll probably still watch. I just won't look forward to it.

@HeavyMetal4Life - John was also my favorite character, and eventho Matt Ryan will still be on the show, the magic of the show is pretty much done.

I'll give it one last season, but my favorite characters are all gone (only Nate is the MVP for me right now).

@Reeds2Much - yeah, Rory used to me one of my favorite characters on the show, but they really wasted him this season, and his pregnancy storyline wasn't that interesting. Really don't care about any of the storylines for any of the characters to be honest.

@UXASIS - yeah, the magic of the show is certainly gone. And I wish that we had the Nate of seasons 2 and 3 instead of this kind of lame and depowered version of Nate.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Yeah, I liked those cool moments when everyone suited up, but now we never see the suits, like at all.

And Nate barely steels up, he could be almost invincible, but they let him use it only when it fits the story.

@UXASIS - yup, 100%. I know people shit on the first season, and rightfully so (cough cough Hawkgirl), but at least they weren't embarrassed to be a superhero show then. The show has changed so much since s3 ended.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Yeah, I think almost everyone on this site agrees that S2 and S3 were the best.

And boy, do I REALLY miss Rip.

@UXASIS - totally agree, Rip is sorely missed.
