Well, Legends of Tomorrow has upped its weirdness factor tenfold as last Sunday's episode not only revealed that Mick's daughter Lita (Mina Sundwall) was pregnant - something he doesn't take particularly well - we also learned that Mick himself is pregnant after his recent escapade with Kayla (Aliyah O'Brien).

Fortunately, (or maybe, unfortunately), Mick will have the support of Sara (Caity Lotz) and his full team behind him, which looks like it's going to play out about as well as you'd expect.

Meanwhile, in a separate corner of the universe, John Constantine (Matt Ryan) enlists Spooner's (Lisseth Chavez) services to track down the Fountain of Imperium, in a last-ditch effort to regain his powers.

Check out the new promo for episode ten, titled "Bad Blood," below:

"Bad Blood" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

THE CYCLE OF LIFE - With Constantine (Matt Ryan) obsessed with getting his powers back, he convinces Spooner (Lisseth Chavez) to join him on the quest to find the Fountain of Imperium. After they find themselves at the end of the Spanish Civil War, Spooner makes an unexpected bond with someone she feels the need to protect them from everyone, including Constantine. Now that they have a special guest on board the Waverider, Nate (Nick Zano), Zari (Tala Ashe), Behrad (Shayan Sobhian), Gary (Adam Tsekham) and Astra (Olivia Swann) all work together but experience some growing pains along the way. Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) and Lita (guest star Mina Sundwall) are concerned about Rory's (Dominc Purcell) health, so they try to convince him to take it seriously. Jes Macallan also stars. Alexandra La Roche directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree (610). Original airdate 7/18/2021

It was an okay episode. Parts of it I liked a lot more than others. I really liked OG Zari coming back, I prefer her to Z2.0 and that was a surprise that I did not expect; I kind of thought we wouldn't really see much of her again, as that was more or less what the showrunners said last season. I also enjoyed Behrad and Astra, both separately and together, in the episode; all here for them hookin up.

But I think this episode refreshed some feelings I've had about Legends for a while- I miss the old Legends of seasons 2 and 3 (even a little bit of season 1). I really do. Peak Legends in s2 and s3 had the formula down perfectly. So well written, so hilarious, so creative, but also serious at times. They had the perfect balance of everything- two of the best seasons in the Arrowverse tbh. The threats were real, dark, serious, but at the same time this was well balanced by the classic Legends humor and positivity.
Season 4 ruined that formula and basically did a Flash s5 by swinging WAY too far into the overly positive, light-hearted, juvenile (a key word here) realm of the show. Whereas those aspects were well balanced out in the prior seasons, they now took priority and were guiding the creativity and storylines of the show. While seasons 5 and 6 were steps back in the right direction, its still not the same. These seasons are largely juvenile, and I really miss the more mature approach the show used to take. I sometimes feel like I'm watching something catered towards young teenagers. Sure, there are episode here and there that are more serious, but overall the show is way, way too silly, stupid, and childish.
Just my two cents. Yeah, its the second best Arrowverse show on TV right now, but only because Black Lightning ended and Flash sucks absolute shit. The gap between Legends and Superman & Lois is massive.

Rory is best dad. And soon to be best mom.

Between Black Widow, Legends, and Superman & Lois (and to a much lesser degree Flash) I am overflowing with family feels.

one of the show's weaker entries.

Strangely this was sort of an episode ive wanted for a while but I wanted it to be a cheesy 60's Superhero show set they would visit
