We recently found out that Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica, Powers, Suits) had joined the cast of the second season of FOX's Lucifer as the mother of the titular Devil and his brother Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside), and now thanks to YVR Shoots we have our first glimpse of the actress on set as Charlotte.

Apparently the scene being shot sees Tom Ellis' Lucifer doing his best to get his hell-raising mother out of a sticky situation with some drunks. You can also check out some videos HERE.

"Trapped in Hell for thousands of years by God (her ex-husband), the Mother of Angels is now free on Earth. Once reunited with Lucifer, it will become clear that she’s the one he takes after. Mom is fearless and has a strong conviction for who she is and what she deserves. However, mother and son do not share the same opinion when it comes to humanity. Everything that fascinates Lucifer about people repels Mom — a disdain that’s highlighted by that fact that Mom’s trapped in a human body for her stay on Earth. Lucifer’s desperate to find out what Mom’s up to, but she claims that all she wants is to spend time with her sons again. But can the devil’s mom really be that innocent?"

Lucifer returns to FOX on Monday, September 19, 2016.

Best comic book TV show last season for sure. Ellis killed it as Lucifer, great writing, and great direction so far!

@Kr08 - I can honestly say I agree, some good highs, never really any lows.

People will probably argue the Flash, but the flash had higher highs and lower lows

@Kr08 - Was such a simple kind of show and I went in expecting nothing, ended up binge watching because I got hooked. The 2 leads were so good together and the story was really fun. can't wait for s2.

Well, since that would be his "mom", I'd say she's a total MILF! :) Love that dress! Looks very nice on her.

I might have to give this a go. I loved the comic and the trailers made it look bloody awful.

@RorMachine - the show is amazing, but if your looking for a comic book adaptation this isn't it. it takes elements from the comic but has a lot of creative differences. its not an adaptation, its a lot like the flash in terms of how well of an adaptation it is. it doesn't follow the comics but does its own thing that is still fun to watch
