TV Line is reporting that Graham McTavish has joined the cast of Lucifer season four in a recurring role as Father Kinley, a kind, deeply empathetic and revered priest that is profoundly committed to guarding his flock, which, of course, includes keeping all of mankind safe from any and all kinds of evil - including everyone's favorite devil (Tom Ellis).

McTavish, who is well known for terrorizing fellow DC/Vertigo creation Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) as The Saint of Killers on
amc's Preacher, is the latest to join the cast of the Netflix series. Inbar Lavi (Imposters; Prison Break) also recently joined the ensemble as Eve, the "first lady."

Filming on the fourth season began earlier this month and the streaming giant is reportedly eyeing an early 2019 release date for all ten episodes.

Entering its third season, the story of the original fallen angel continues. As Season Two came to a close, Lucifer took care of a little problem called Mom, aka Charlotte (Tricia Helfer). But now he’s facing an even greater challenge – finding out who kidnapped him, and why his angel wings are back. In addition, Tom Welling (Smallville) joins the cast as Marcus Pierce, an accomplished police lieutenant who is everything Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is not – strategic, reserved and well-respected. But perhaps even more annoying are all the things they have in common. Both men are charming, charismatic and handsome as hell. So when Pierce starts developing a connection with Decker (Lauren German), Lucifer's devilish traits are inflamed.

Lucifer features:
Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar
Lauren German as Chloe Decker
Kevin Alejandro as Dan Espinoza
D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel
Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen
Tricia Helfer as Charlotte Richards
Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez
Scarlett Estevez as Trixie Espinoza
Rachael Harris as Linda Martin
Tom Welling as Marcus Pierce/Cain

Lucifer returns in 2019

Wow they are not wasting time to announce new characters. Cool though, after they were revived by Netflix they might want to prove they want to stay.

I hope the viewership is good enough to get a 5th season.
