The bonkers fifth episode of James Gunn's The Suicide Squad spinoff is now streaming on HBO Max, and we have a first look at some footage from next week's installment courtesy of a revealing promo for "Murn After Reading."
In the closing moments of "Monkey Dory," Adebayo (Danielle Brooks) discovered that Clemson Murn (Chukwudi Iwuji) was a Butterfly when she put on Peacemaker's x-ray vision helmet. It looks like Murn (if that is his real name) is going to manage to incapacitate the rookie A.R.G.U.S. agent, but there may be more going on here than we realize.
Elsewhere, Christopher Smith's (John Cena) father (Robert Patrick) vows to put down his own son permanently, and he plans on using his White Dragon supervillain suit along with an army of white supremacists to get the job done. Unfortunately, Smith is far too preoccupied with his "pet" butterfly to see the threat coming.
