According to Mashable, Greg Grunberg (LOST, Heroes, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) has been tapped for a "badass recurring role" on season 3 of The Flash. Apparently he'll be playing a police detective named Tom Patterson, who is described as "a gruff, stalwart figure at Central City Police Department, who is unwavering in his commitment to protecting Central City from the dangerous metas that threaten it."

As far as I know Patterson isn't an established DC Comics character, but please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Grunberg will make his debut during next week's "Killer Frost" episode of The Flash, which was directed by his Geeking Out co-host, Kevin Smith.

@ComicsBornAndBred - They must have an entire episode of "Geeking out" dedicated to it.

Supergirl will probably have the "Comicbook Men" guys on.

Seeing him always takes me out of things a bit. But cool for him that he's in so many fancy universes now!

@TheLight - Flash body wise should be somewhere in between the Shipp Flash and Grant Flash.

@TheLight - Those look great. The suit he wears was a firefighter suit Cisco designed, wasn't it? (I can't remember, the first season was awhile ago). Aside from the fact that it just so happened to fit him perfectly, there should be visible alterations made to it that imply Cisco cut out the firefighter-intended features. Idk, it feels like I've been waiting since halfway-through season one to see a new costume. It should be streamlined and brighter red. He doesn't need it dark-colored for stealth purposes, so there's no reason he has to wear brownish maroon. Yellower-looking gold would also be appreciated. There's no reason the showrunners can't make it look better. I'm also getting fed up with Wells constantly referencing Earth-19, and rubbing it in our faces that that's the show we all want to see. I WANT COMIC BOOK FLASH DAMMIT.

I cant stand this guy. He comes off as so dumb and fake on Geeking out. Like He owns comics, but never read them. That they are on a shelf to look cool. He says something on the show then someone else says "really?" and he changes everything he just said. Plus he acts like he is better than everyone cause he has friends that made big movies and puts his mug in it. He's not a bad actor, but to be in all these big movies.....in his case, its def who you know!!!
