It's Heroes Vs. Aliens Heroes In THE FLASH Season 3, Episode 8 Promo; "Invasion!"

The CW's four night DC TV crossover kicked off in the closing moments of tonight's episode of Supergirl, but the "Invasion!" begins for real in tomorrow night's The Flash. As you can see, things are going relatively well for our favourite heroes until The Dominators bring Supergirl and a number of others under their control. Unfortunately, it looks like it will be down to just Barry and the Green Arrow to stop them, but that promises to be an intense battle. What do you think of the crossover so far?

IT’S HEROES VS. ALIENS IN THIS EPIC CROSSOVER EVENT — When aliens called the Dominators attack Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) speeds over to Star City to ask the Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) for help in stopping them. Realizing the battle against the Dominators is bigger than they thought, they track down the Legends of Tomorrow, and Barry and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) create a breach to bring back a secret weapon – Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist). Once all of the super friends are assembled, they come up with a plan to attack but a shocking secret related to Flashpoint is revealed and suddenly no one is sure who they can trust. Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) wants to join the battle against the aliens but Iris (Candice Patton) tells him he’s not ready. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.

Tonight's episode officially put Supergirl in the spot of the worst comic book show under Gotham.

They skipped over major plot points, like how Cadmus [frick]ing knew about the Medusa virus in the first place and the location of the Fortress of Solitude for Alex and her coming out.

It wasn't even a crossover episode. It was literally a minute of Barry and Cisco cameo at the end. Complete false advertisement.

Henshaw calling himself Cyborg Superman even though he's never met Superman and never bothered to wear the S.

@Kr08 - He really looked like Cyborg than he did Cyborg Superman.

@Kr08 - I agree, it should have built up to the crossover, maybe cutting between the two earths, but as a stand alone episode, I liked it.

@ConnorHawkeye - This episode literally made no sense whatsoever. If this was a movie, it would've been ripped to shreds more than Suicide Squad and BvS were

@SexyDrDoom - yeah, they should have had him steal a suit from the fortress of solitude, and then have him say that he can do more than superman can, as a man and machine, then he calls himself cyborg superman.

@Kr08 - yeah, I mean I was able to follow it, and I switched between this and gotham whenever alex came on so I missed a bit, I liked it, but for me it seemed like the plot of the virus should have been a seasonal arc, not for this episode.

Gotham did have riddler in full green, so maybe it was just overflowing excitement from that

@ConnorHawkeye - you should write this series

@Stingzz - Don't get me wrong. The DCTV shows, aside from Lucifer (Which is the best one), all have cheesy elements. Legends embraced it this season and is now better than the Flash. I like the cheese, because comics were full of it, but the show has to AT LEAST have a decent plot that makes logical sense from a narrative standpoint.

Supergirl lacks that in almost ALL of their episodes.

I liked that episode, but i did not like cyborg superman, flash and cisco was cool, the virus being related to kara was cool, Mon-el was meh, Lena was fantastic

There should have been more info on the dominators, and it should have been directly introduced in this episode, maybe show a parallel on flash's earth of him seeing the aliens

Just as I suspected no build up to the crossover.

So they're gonna use Medusa to take out the dominators?

@Specialkail1 - That seems logical, too bad berlanti will brush over it, like nothing happened

On a side note, this is what Kiersey Clemons looked like at a Benefits Event
I think this is the look that she will have as Iris
