The CW has released a new promo for The Flash ahead of its return next month, and it features some incredible footage of the Reverse-Flash, Killer Frost, the Earth-2 Barry Allen and Iris West, and Zoom taking someone very close to the Scarlet Speedster. Check it out!

The Reverse Flash is back? Earth 2 Reverse Flash? Earth 2 Killer Frost is a copout. It would be FAR more interesting to see Caitlin's slow arc toward the dark side, so to speak, over several seasons.

hopefully we get a trailer soon. I don't want them to make Earth 1 Caitlin in Killer Frost. I just don't think I'd buy it. She doesn't seem to have an evil bone in her body. That being said I do sorta agree with @Luminus that its a bit of a cop-out, I'd still perfer it to the alternative.

They made Willow an evil character in Buffy and it was one of the single most greatest character arc ever. She eventually got better, but still. Same with Marlena Evans being possessed by the devil in Days of our Lives (yes, the soap opera). It was a guilty pleasure for a few years.

I paused it on the point where Reverse Flash is being confronted by Flash and the guy in the Yellow Suit looks like Barry Allen rather than Thawne

Eobard could still be alive if you believe that time is non linear. He got erased but everything up to that point still exists. It didn't completely wipe him from history, just from that moment forward. Wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff

Let me guess, bad guy comes through portal for the same lame motivation and Barry cant defeat him/ her the first time but him and his STAR labs crew manage to find a way to stop him using science while Patty and Barry have some cute moments and Dr. Wells wants to Barry to get faster (ummm just like Well's motivation last season lol)

I can't believe what they done to Dr. Wells in that last episode

S1: Wells wants Barry to get faster

Then they made an actual GOOD change which turned him into a better character
S2: Wells wants Barry to stop Zoom to save his daughter

But NOPE CW writers got lazy and just changed his motivation back to S1 without the him being evil part

S2 NOW: Wells wants Barry to get faster

He kicked Barry's ass, that's cool.
He has a cool voice, that's cool
And that's it.

His motivation is not appealing and really doesn't get me interested in the character.

They had better start giving Zoom some depth because, as many have already stated, he's getting boring. I dug the episode where he kicked Barry's ass but aside from that he's been rather stale.

Also really concerned that Killer Frost is going to be cheesy as hell.

It's unfortunate because I really do like this show but they NEED to ditch the villain of the week format. Like it's great fan service, sure, but it just ends up being shallow. For me at least.

Also it really seems like it's going to just be an Earth 2 Eobard Thawne showing up. I'll be happy to be proven wrong, but I'm just prepared for a letdown.

CW Flash > MCU.

Sorry, it's just true. Better acting, better CGI, Shark makes Avenger 2 Hulk look like a high school project. Better plots, better characters, remember how meh Quicksilver's death was. Flash is just better all around.
