Robbie Amell Confirmed To Return As Ronnie Raymond In THE FLASH Season 3

While we've met his Earth-2 doppelganger, Robbie Amell has been absent from The Flash since the season two premiere, but it has now been confirmed that he'll return. However, which version will it be?

Ronnie Raymond is returning to The Flash, but not necessarily the one who helped close the Singularity back in the season two premiere. Entertainment Weekly reports that Robbie Amell has signed up to reprise the role, but beyond knowing that he'll show up in a winter episode, they don't offer any more specifics. Since the character's death, we've met his Earth-2 doppelganger in the form of Deathstorm.

Zoom took him out, so he won't be returning but theories that the original Ronnie somehow survived that explosion which sealed the breach between worlds have been doing the rounds for ages now.

Given the vulnerable mental state of Caitlin Snow, as she transforms into Killer Frost, chances are Ronnie will just show up as a hallucination, so it may be too soon to start getting excited about this news. With any luck, The CW will reveal some details soon, so let us know your theories below.

Never understood why they got rid of Ronnie so quickly. The new kid is an awful actor.

I don't mind The Flash. It's not great in any way, it's even kinda bad, but I enjoy watching it. Guilty pleasure, I guess. Also, I might be watching just because of Iris. She's getting super entitled and annoying, but I just can't stop looking at her. In a "Wow, you're a real spoiled bitch! Please marry me?" sorta way. Am I weird? Am I drunk? I think there is someone in my house. "Irissssssss, is that you?"

This isn't the news I wanted to hear and it is because he is a very bad actor. He should be thankful his cousin gets him jobs, because he can't do it himself.

Amell is nothing to write home about, but still better than what we have now. I have never understood why Jax was created since Jason Rausch was shown on Flash S1. The guy playing Jason didn't have much screen time, but he was MUCH better than the breathtakingly awful Franz Drameh ("the black guy" for those who can't think of any other way of referring to him). It's not just the bad acting. Or it could be that Drameh struggles with the ham handed "street" persona and lines the writers give Jax. On the other hand, Victor Garber is great as Martin Stein, but I have no love for the CW's Firestorm because they ditched a college/grad school student (Jason) in favor of a stereotypical trope (ex-jock, mechanic, raised by a single mother...at least we know it was because his Dad was killed in service to the military, but still...been there, done that).
