Though we were first introduced to Firestrom on The CW's
Flash through a molecular fusion of Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) and Prof. Stein (Victor Garber), following Ronnie's heroic sacrifice, the duo of Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh) and Stein have been working in tandem as the fiery superhero for far longer.
However, it was recently announced that Robbie would be returning to the show and
Entertainment Weekly caught up with the actor at the NHL All-Star Celebrity Game to try and get the scoop on his upcoming guest spot.
"I was there last week. I can tell you that my scenes are with Grant [Gustin] and Danielle [Panabaker]. And I may or may not be alive. It’s always great to work with all of them. I rarely get to have scenes with Grant. The only time he and I had a scene that was just the two of us I was Stein at the time. I was pretending to be Victor Garber. So it was cool to have a real scene with Grant.”
Based on what Amell states, it seems likely that Ronnie appears in a flashback or perhaps as a vision to Panabaker's Caitlin Snow, who is currently in a fragile mental state due to her struggles with her Killer Frost persona.
