Teddy Sears On When THE FLASH Will Answer Its Biggest Question

There's only a few more episodes to go in The Flash's second season. While the next episode deals with the revelation of Hunter Zoloman's backstory, what about the other big mystery lingering on fans' minds?

We have less than a week until the Flash returns from yet another short break. The 18th episode, titled "Versus Zoom" will explore Zoom's mysterious backstory as Hunter Zoloman (yes, the show is spelling it that way), the apparent serial killer. However, one of the Flash's largest mysteries is still eluding fans; just who is behind that metal mask in Zoom's lair? According to Teddy Sears, who portrays Zoom/Jay Garrick, that reveal is still a little ways down the road.

"If you’d asked me this question last week — my answer still has to be the same because it’s just such a big reveal; we reveal it in the finale — I had no clue last week. I didn’t know who the guy was. I didn’t even have a clue. Well, of course, now I know because we’re shooting the finale and we’ll get to that stuff next week. All has been revealed to me. I don’t even know what to say because it’s such a fun thing to me being nice and vague and untouched. I can promise that it will be revealed and it will be quite satisfying."

It sounds like the season 2 finale will be where we get our revelation! The fan theories have been rampant, ranging from Jay Garrick of Earth Prime, to Henry Allen of Earth 2, to Wally West of Earth 2. Who do you think Zoom's prisoner is? Sound off below!

The Flash returns Tuesday, April 19th.

"Versus Zoom": Barry wants to use a tachyon device to open the breaches in a plan to catch Zoom; Hunter Zoloman's past on Earth-2 is revealed. Airing Tuesday, April 19th at 8p.m. on the CW.

Such a good show and waiting to see what they reveal. Excited, a show that stepped up the right way.

If anybody wants to another show starring hot women, that has the potential to be good, but wastes it on bullshit romance like Arrow, I recommend Quantico.
It even stars Rick Cosnett.

By this time last year, I was on the edge of my seat every episode SCREAMING everytime an episode ended.

Now....nothing. Such a damn shame.

@Retribution13 - It's been on and off for me. They've got to veer away from the filler "freak of the week" format. Zoom lost some impact from appearing, and then disappearing for episodes at a time.

The obvious choice would be Jay Garrick, but they could always surprise us and reveal it's someone like Eddie

I feel like we're getting way to many filler and unnecessary episodes, Flashback was totally unneeded. We need more unexpected twists like the King Shark reveal. I hate to admit it but I'm really bored with Flash it just feels like a chore to watch, I'm really hoping it picks up soon

As much as I'd love for it to be Johnny Quick and that's how we get into Earth 3, it's probably just someone's boyfriend.
