With the Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh) having taken control of Nash's body, Barry (Grant Gustin), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) will have to keep him on lockdown at S.T.A.R. Labs until they figure out their next move. However, the clock's definitely ticking as Eobard plots his escape.
Meanwhile, the Scarlett Speedster, Frost, Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Kamilla (Victoria Park) and Mirror-Iris (Candice Patton) will also have to work against the clock to track down a dangerous new meta named Sunshine (Natalie Sharp), who's been causing all kinds of trouble across Central City.

Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. However, with the arrival of Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter, Nora, who arrived from the future admitting to having made a “big mistake,” things are anything but status quo.
