It's been quite some time since we've seen Kid-Flash in The Flash, but the hero is finally set to make his return to Central City in the upcoming March 10th episode of the long-running series.

Keiynan Lonsdale left the show a while back to seemingly embark on a big screen career, but it's believed that he will once again be a recurring presence in the show during season six. That's going to make comic book fans very happy indeed, especially as his early appearances didn't live up to expectations (he was a somewhat forgettable presence during those first couple of years).

The CW has also released a synopsis for the episode which is titled "Death of the Speed Force":

WALLY WEST SPEEDS BACK INTO CENTRAL CITY — Kid Flash (guest star Keiynan Lonsdale) returns to Central City with a Zen attitude and new tricks up his sleeve. While thrilled to see his family again, Wally confides to Barry (Grant Gustin) that he returned because he thinks there is something wrong with the speed force. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) returns from his fact-finding mission across Earth-Prime. Brent Crowell directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Emily Palizzi Gilbert (#614). Original airdate 3/10/2020.

Just going from the promo itself I could sense that Wally has changed as Eric Wallace teased. You can feel that calm and collected “zen” vibe in him.

I wonder if the villain he and Barry will face is the return of Eobard in some kind of capacity.

Like that Cisco is back as well. Can't wait to see what he catalogued about the Crisis changes.

Plot keeps thickening.

This version of Kid Flash is incredibly boring.

I really wish redhead Wally West would make an appearance on Flash, make it that he is Iris' cousin and the same age as Barry and Iris too.

Have it be some time after they both were kids he got trapped in the speedforce and if the CW's version of Wally West wants to do something crazy, make it so Wally disappeared the night Barry Allen's mom was murdered by Reverse Flash.

@BlackIceJoe - Do you really think replacing a black actor with a white one will go over well nowadays, regardless of comic book accuracy? Because I can totally see some controversy surrounding that.

@Himura - Where did I say replace a black Wally West with a white Wally West?

I'm not sure if you read the Flash comics or not, but in the comics the White Wally West is trapped in the speedforce, because of that everyone forgets he ever existed and once he comes out of it, people get their memories back of him.

So I see no reason why both Wally Wests can't be on the show too.

One thing that does change after the White Wally West appears is that the black Wally West then goes by the name Wallace instead.

So in the end both can be on the show.
