With HBO's epic fantasy drama Game of Thrones having ended its award-winning run earlier this year, Brewery Ommegang and HBO Licensing & Retail have officially released the fifteenth and final beer in their Game of Thrones-inspired collection, the aptly named My Watch Has Ended.

My Watch Has Ended, with an 8% ABV, is brewed with two-row base malt, specialty grains such as oat flakes and chocolate malt, plus maple syrup and fenugreek, an herb with a maple-like aroma and flavor. Hopped with Hallertau Magnum and Styrian Golding varietals and fermented with an English ale yeast, with aromas of sweet maple and caramelized sugar, the beer pours a rich mahogany. Notes of cocoa and toffee and a smooth, velvety mouthfeel finish dry, with gently smoldering roast.

The delicious beer, which retails for a more than reasonable $11.99/bottle, is the perfect drink to pour in your favorite golden chalice this winter as you sit by the fireplace, dreaming of spring and the warmer days to come. It should also be a nice drink to tide you over until HBO takes us all back to Westeros in the highly anticipated spinoff series House of the Dragon, which has already been greenlit for a ten-episode first season.
