GAME OF THRONES Prequel Series Sets Cast; New STAR TREK Director S.J. Clarkson To Helm Pilot
HBO's upcoming Game of Thrones prequel has revealed its full cast, and a diverse bunch of up-and-comers will be joining Naomi Watts in the fantasy series, which is still shrouded in mystery. Check it out.
HBO has officially announced the supporting cast for its upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series, and while there are a few familiar faces, the group is mostly comprised of a diverse bunch of rising stars.
Joining previously announced leads Naomi Watts and Josh Whitehouse will be: Naomi Ackie (Star Wars: Episode IX, Yardie), Denise Gough (People Places and Things, Angels in America), Jamie Campbell Bower (Camelot, Sweeney Todd), Shella Atim (Harlots), Ivanno Jeremiah (Black Mirror), Georgie Henley (The Chronicles of Narnia), Alex Sharp (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), and Toby Regbo (Reign).
No details on the characters these guys will be playing, unfortunately, but we should have more details on that soon enough. The report does reveal that S.J. Clarkson (Star Trek, Jessica Jones) will direct the pilot.

No premiere date just yet, but the show is expected to be with us sometime in 2020.
