HOUSE OF THE DRAGON Episode 8 Stills Highlight Aged-Up Aegon, Baela, Lucerys, And More

There's another time-jump coming (don't worry, this will be the final one), and some new promo stills for House of the Dragon episode 8 spotlight several aged-up characters...

Farewell House of the Dragon's pre-teen actors, we hardly knew ye.

This Sunday's episode of the Game of Thrones prequel series, "Lord of the Tides," will jump forward another six years, and HBO (via SFFGazette.com) has shared a new batch of promo stills spotlighting the aged-up characters.

Some viewers have expressed frustration with the show skipping forward so much and bypassing certain characters' development, but rest assured, this will be the final time-jump of the entire series.

The images feature the now adult (by Westeros standards, at least) versions of Baela Targaryen (Bethany Antonia), Jacaerys Velaryon (Harry Collett), Aegon Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) and his brother Aemond (Ewan Mitchell).

Will Aemond "One-Eye" still hold a grudge over the horrific injury he suffered at the hands of Lucerys during last week's episode? We'd say it's a pretty safe bet.

By all accounts, this episode is a Red Wedding-style shocker, so something tells us this latest family gathering is not going to break tradition by going in any way smoothly.

Check out the new stills at the link below.

@abd00bie - Have you seen his wife? I'd be clinging on as long as possible too.

@thewanderer - I just want to know where Joffrey and Daeron are. That alone should determine the time jump.

@nonserviam - Daeron has presumably already been warded in Oldtown, so we probably won't meet him until Season 2. Not sure about Joffrey, but we've seen a few leaked shots of Aegon the Younger, and he looks, like, 4?

Just wondering why the heck is there no mention of White Walkers or even The Night's Watch at all?

In GoT, they kept talking about a great war with White Walkers thousands of years ago which was won by the livings and then they built this giant wall to keep White Walkers away from them. The wall has stood tall for thousands of years and all that blah blah about hisotry.

This show is about events that took place 200ish years before GoT and yet no mention of North, which is suppose to be the biggest zone/kingdom of all.

It's really weird that some characters like Daemon and Corlys haven't been aging at all through all these decades while all other characters look really different.

OT: the constant "server error"s are the bane of my existence in this hellsite.
