Jon Snow Strolls Through King's Landing With A Mysterious Companion In These New GAME OF THRONES Set Pics

A new batch of photos from the season 8 set of HBO's Game of Thrones confirms that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) will be returning to King's Landing at some point, where he'll join a mysterious new character.

It looks like Jon Snow will be returning to King's Landing at some point during the final season of Game of Thrones.

Croatian site 24 Sata has shared some photos from the set in Dubrovnik, which is doubling for the "rats' nest the call a capital", and they feature Kit Harington in full Jon Snow getup strolling down the tower steps towards the city walls while in the company of a mysterious character.

The man certainly appears to be dressed like someone from the Night's Watch, but it doesn't look like "Dolorous" Edd Tollett of anyone else we've met before.

What do you guys make of the images? Is Jon still unaware that Cersei has betrayed him? Is The Queen keeping up the pretense herself? At the very least, the pics prove that the Northerner still doesn't know how to dress for the warmer climate. Then again, winter is... ah, you get the picture.

They should reenact the scene where he got kicked out of that bar in New York but replace it with a tavern. Man, I love this show and can't wait for this. I wonder if Jamie will help Jon get through banging his hot Aunt.

Jamie: It's no big deal Jon, I do my sister all the time.

@TheGoddamnPeel - Could not agree with you more friend. I had to hearty a good hearty laugh when DnD were announced to write a new Star Wars series and touted in the article as 'one of the best story tellers today.'

They are such good story tellers that once they run out of source material, there is a massive drop off in quality. It makes it even more blatantly obvious they aren't good writers, not even in sight of the stratosphere GRRM is in, and most of the time they have gone down plot points or character beats that aren't from the books they are terrible and so ham fisted it's eye rolling.

@NOVAtheSUPA - Honestly this season was about as weak as Cersei's knees whenever she meets one of her distant cousins.

The whole plot of 'bringing a wight from Beyond the Wall to convince Cersei and gain her unquestionable and unwavering support' was insanely reckless and stupid. Its hard to imagine that Tyrion, once one of the most intelligent and observant characters of the series, would willingly risk the lives of some of his close friends in hopes of gaining his sister's help when he knows first-hand that she cannot be trusted. And then it got worse from there - from Jon staying behind for stupid bullshit reasons, the Night's King throwing a spear at the dragon that was the furthest away and not sitting down, UnBenjen returning just to die, honestly it was one of the worst written episodes I ever watched, along with Littlefinger's bullshit death and its made me give up on the show.

I'm just desperate at this point for the next book because I know it'll be a billion times better than the past three seasons of Game of Thrones combined; we'll actually see Jaime's redemption arc, the rise of fAegon Targaryen, the Grand Northern Conspiracy done properly, Stannis smashing the Boltons properly, Barristan Selmy vs Victarion Greyjoy etc. there's going to be so much goodness in the next book that I just don't know how much longer I can hold out lol.

[frick] mate, revealing that Jon Snow goes back to King’s Landing is a pretty big [frick]ing spoiler, good on you. Think I’m gonna quit coming to this site until the finale next year. I have been spoiled on so many things by this site through article titles and photos. It may not seem like much, but when you do it enough times you paint a picture and people can piece together a narrative without trying.

Think about it. Let’s say, for example, next season starts with Jon and his mob marching south to fight the big major fight with the zombies and such. As I’m watching that I’ll know, or expect, that Jon will survive that fight, maybe even win, and not only that but go back and rule/help rule King’s Landing.

Use your [frick]ing head and stop ruining shit for people. I’ve been watching this show for over seven years and if you ruin the end for me you’re goddamn prick.
