We already had one bit of official casting news for the second season of Game Of Thrones, with Natalie Dormer being cast as Margaery Tyrell. Now we have rumors of two more actors in line for roles. According to Den Of Geek..

There are also unconfirmed rumours that Christopher Eccleston and Tony Curran are being lined up for roles, but we'll see what happens there, and bring you more news when we get it.

It's really not a lot to go on, but if they are cast, who might they play? The most obvious choice for Eccleston would be Stannis Baratheon I think since he is the biggest character addition in the second book anyway. Curran(Underworld: Evolution ) might fit the part of Jaquen Hagar? He has the red hair. But there are quite a few character either one might fit. Take this with the usual grain of salt for now but I'll do my best to get some more info on this.

Hmm, I think either one of them would make a good Stannis. Jaquen really isn't that big of a part, so I'd imagine they'd cast someone a little more obscure.

One of them could be Davos...

Well, if you think about it Jaquen is in every chapter that Arya is in in book two so I think it's a pretty big role, at least for that season. But yeah, Davos is also a possibility.

Eccleston is probably in line for Stannis. Curran is probably being eyed for Edmure Tully.

Which kinda sucks because I wanted that Damien Lewis guy from Band of Brothers to play Edmure Tully.

My money is on Stannis and either Davos or Qhorin Halfhand.

I get the feeling Jaquen Hagar has already been seen as one of the three men in the cage Arya saw as she joined up with Yoren and the nights watch

@Morningstar:

I think you're right. I'm guessing it was the guy with longish hair on the left side of the cage who followed Arya with his eyes.

EDIT:
I just rewatched the scene from Blood & Fire and Biter is immediately recognizable by his sharpened teeth but it's hard to say if Jaquen is the one with long hair or the one whose face is hidden by the hood of his cloak. However, if they stay true to the book, then Rorge will be noseless, which means he's the guy in the cloak, making the other one Jaquen.

Arya doesn't learn magic from anyone. She does, however, go to train with the Faceless Men in Braavos.

Yeah, in her last chapter in A Feast for Crows (book 4 in the series) Arya wakes up blind.

Book 5, A Dance with Dragons, is out July 12. I'm looking forward to seeing how that cliffhanger pans out...

I say Ecclestone for Stannis he could pull that off awesomely

plus my flatmate and I discussed casting for Davos we reckon it should be Robert Carlyle just because he could well pull it off

I would guess Eccleston for Stannis, he was amazing in the Shadow Line, so looks like they are continuing to do and excellent job with the cast.

Eccleston would be Stannis!! Wooo!

Dude would make a great Syrio! err Jaquen Hagar! I agree he's probably Edmure Tully though.

I'm thinking her blindness is likely going to be a temporary condition, part of her training to be an assassin.
