voiced by Gerard Butler, no thanks.

It does very look good, though. Maybe I'll turn on the Russian dub.

Good voice for the character, Gerard is great for a guy who has reason to be constantly intense in a story. Animation could be a bit better, hopefully they'll get enough success out of watchmen to film all the black freighter stuff and add it into extended watchmen movie.

This looks better than the Highlander Anime that came out last year. Looks good Rorschach01. Iam impressed. Love the Rock intro--who is it?

Does anyone know if they're eventually going to put all of this bonus feature stuff in the same set as Watchmen... so that I can just buy a special edition Watchmen dvd with TOTBF and Under the Hood... or do I have to buy it seperate?

warpath15... Yes. In fact, a word of nerd-warning to all of my Watchmen fans out there! Don't buy the movie when it first comes out!!!

They're going to eventually release an all-in-one special addition after they release the regular DVD/Blu-Ray versions! It will have the full film, AND the animated feature together in one!

(*Kind of like how they released the LOTR trilogy.)

If you're a collector, like myself, you'll definitely want this version over the other, cheaper versions!..

Unless, of course, you're an "alltruistic" fan, and you want to own the DVD/Blu-Ray, the animated feature, and then buy the Collector's edition when it comes out!

(I've been guilty of performing that consumer faux pas a time or two myself.)

;-)

Yea, this is going to be kick ass. Just like the movie, just like the comics, just like they should be.

But, I have to say it again. They need to DROP that damned "From the visionary director of '300'" crap. WE KNOW WHO IT IS. Hell even people who don't know what it is know who freakin' the "visionary director of 300" is.

I didn't mind the "visionary director of" in the actual trailer, but "executive produced by the visionary director of 300" made me laugh.

I have no complaints.

This does look impressive, and I think it will be the best part of the Watchmen movie. I'm also curious to see how he did "Under the Hood" and what he included for that.

I can't post without mentioning it. I tried to, but it is impossible. Because Black Freighter is a companion, the themes and the depth of the novel is there. It is robbed of its own beauty by serving calamari at the Visionary Snyder's dinner table.

I don't really like the way the damned pirate looks, his eyes being just pure red throughout looks kind of dumb. Otherwise it looks decent, this will not be any where near better than the watchmen film, that's just a laughable sandy cooch comment.

Xaosjerk, I must be blind because I never saw his eyes go red. Ever. I watched it a couple of times to make sure. I swear there was a squid tentacle wrapped around that shark, and I saw a squid reflecting in his eyes.

Just like Captain America was in The Incredible Hulk... can you find it?!

I'm talking about the damned pirate (zombie lookin dude before the ship explodes) not the guy butler plays.

This looks completely amazing. I really have no complaints. Gerard Butler is a pretty B.A. dude. It's been awhile since i've read Watchmen and therefore TOTBF, but it all just looks again.

what does totbf mean, I keep hearing it lately and apparently I'm behind on the acroslang.

TOTBF = the story / video this post is about.
ManofBass

Im gonna say this just because the way Rob wrote it, it makes it look like he's acronyming something that doesn't share letters.

But, also its good to see that there are artists out there these days that don't suck, or maybe I think they do because DC and Marvel has been hiring suck artists for a while now, but this is a nice change of pace.
(and before anyone corrects me about the suck artists, yes-The artist from the "Hulk Vs." movies sucked, yes-superman "doomsday" sucked and yes-the new "batman" and "wolverine and the amazing" X-men sucked)
