Neat...

I feel like I'm missing something from the first few seconds of the clip, so the whole Silk Spectre playing roll and tumble just seems odd...

Which now that I played it a few times, I think it's because her landing is sooo exaggerated, which I kinda like. Her character was always the over-dramatic one to me.

Thanks for the clip.

omfg!!!!!!!!! i loved that music from the second i heard it and when i saw that scene, i was like "this is soooo awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg i have to stop watching these clips cause im gonna ruin the movie for myself. im gonna watch it again. also, to add to your comment, it's called a parkour roll and if you are going to jump from a point that high, you must transfer your downward motion into forward motion by rolling in order to prevent yourself from breaking your legs. it's actually not the flashy way to do things in movies because it's the right way. it's more unrealistic when they jump land and their legs are unharmed. like when the comedian and nite owl jump from the ship or when silk spectre jumps into the burning building. it occurs to me now that nobody really thought it best to design a ladder for the movie archie i guess. everybody is always just like cya! and jumping out of him.

@blacksword7 - I learn something new everyday. :)

I think it's her flaring her arms back and the dramatic pose looking upward after the roll that made me think that.

The music bothered me at first too... I'm hoping once we see this clip in line with the movie, it will seem more "right".

Clip's bad ass

Now for the Music

Tyler Bates wrote the soundrack - he's the same guy that made the soundtrack for 300 which was also directed by Zack (stating the obvious)

Whereas it suited 300...i dont think this kind of music suits watchmen too much...i would have gone to something a bit more "classical"

LEEE777,

yeah he played "Denny" in season 2 or 3 of Grey's Anatomy. he was a millionaire that was dying from heart failure. he had a romance with Issy (the blonde chick) proposed to marry her then died, he left her 8 or so million dollars. they brought him back this season cause Issy is probbaly going to die, he keeps saying "Issy i am coming for you". Then they make out, its kind of wierd since he dead.

Look, theres going to be slow mo in this movie, its Snyders style..GET USED TO IT...personally i like it, not too much of it but a bit here and there i think looks pretty cool. To be honest i really dont care if theres slo mo, fast mo, reverse mo..i just want to see great performances and a well structured narrative

Although seeing all the clips that have been leaked I see many liberties being taken with the movie (no screechers?) and considering that I really hate Snyder and his obsession with slo-mo, I'm hoping it won't be bad and actually think it might be ok, but will have to see it first.

Doritos... so slo-mo in watchmen is bad.... but slo-mo in DBE is epic? now that's just stupid.

it probly never would have even been noticed if it weres for the stick up the ass fans that looked for reasons to pick on zack's movies.

Sonny, i heard there was gonna be some "arm-braking" good times in this movie. the prison fight is very cinematic, but i believe the alley fight will be very cool. if chris nolan can get away with the blatantly inept lackeys in "The dark Knight" i think snyder can get a pass on this one. besides, silk spectre is kicking guys with her sharp stilettos and nite owl is clothes-lining guys in the neck, and punching them in the balls. i think it's safe to say this fight isn't totally out there. besides, it's like 45 seconds long and this movie is not about the action.

Okay, so I saw an 11:55 showing of Watchmen last night, which was incredible. Tyler Bates’ score in particular was fantastic. He’s doing a CD signing at Emerald Knights Comics and Games in Burbank on Saturday March 7th at 3:00pm.

Also, he made a recent appearance on a Los Angeles NPR Station (KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic”) and gave an interesting interview. You should all give a listening:

His score along with the soundtrack to the film are both awesome, and available now in stores and on iTunes. Check it out!
