Marvel has been pushing ahead with its non-movie content in recent years. From Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., to Agent Carter, and now even Daredevil and a number of upcoming original series being released via the Netflix platform, Marvel television shows are begininning to settle in nicely to the Marvel Cinematic Univerese

Agent Carter is a series focusing on Peggy CarterStever Roger's love interest from Captain Amercia: The First Avenger following Steve's death, when she finds herself balancing her daily routine office work for the Scientific Strategic Reserve (SSR) and assisting in clearing Howard Stark from charges of treachery that he has been framed for. The series was received well, both with critics and fans alike. And now, courtesy of the official Twitter account of the actress Hayley Atwell(who plays Peggy), we can confirm that the second season's filming is now underway!

This was later followed up by a tweet from the actress, showing that the show's stunt training was taking place just an hour ago (at the time of writing).

I totally respect her as an actor, a woman, and a person.

That said, I hope the setting of Los Angeles for season 2 means we get less of this:

and more of this:

because va-va-va-voom, Ms. Atwell's got a pair of getaway sticks on her that start at the top and go all the way down, if you know what I mean.
