If you haven't seen the first season of Marvel's Agent Carter, you may want to avert your eyes now as what's coming next is a tad bit spoilery.

Agent Peggy Carter and the S.S.R. may have triumphed over Leviathan at the end of Agent Carter's first season, but that victory didn't come without a price as they lost several agents including S.S.R. Chief Roger Dooley, who heroically sacrificed his life in order to save the S.S.R.

With his departure, a major position needed to be filled at the S.S.R. and well, now, it looks like it just has as Marvel has released the first production still from the upcoming second season revealing that Agent Daniel Sousa, played by Enver Gjokaj, is now the new S.S.R. Chief and well, Peggy's new boss. Although, if we're being perfectly honest, we all know she's really her own boss. Check out the new set photo below:

So, what do you guys think about Sousa's promotion? Are you excited for season two? Sound off with your thoughts below!

“MARVEL’S AGENT CARTER” (Season 2) “Marvel’s Agent Carter” returns for a second season of adventure and intrigue, starring Hayley Atwell in the titular role of the unstoppable secret agent for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve). Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.

Agent Carter features:
Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter
Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark
James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis
Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson
Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa
Lyndsy Fonseca as Angie Martinelli
Bridget Regan as Dottie

I still wish Souza would take a knock-off supersoldier formula, and end up being the anti-commie asshole fake Captain America...

This show still doesn't line up right canon-wise with the Agent Carter One Shot but I've gotten over that. I don't think they had this show in mind or thought it would pan out and be good when they did the One Shot.

No, watch Narcos on Netflix instead.

Narcos made me admire Pablo Escobar. Anyone that can bring in $60 million per day is doing something right. And I liked how you never knew who was going to die at any given time.

Yeah, that ending was bullshit. I assume they left it open for a second season.

I liked Sousa in the first season. He's going to be more open to Peggy having a lead role in their agency.

Sousa was a decent character in the first season. Hopefully we get the beginnings of SHIELD soon.
