First Look At Lyndsy Fonseca's 'Angie Martinelli' On AGENT CARTER Set

Earlier today, Lyndsy Fonseca posted a photo of herself in what appears to be her Agent Carter dressing room. While it isn't much, it does give us a good look at the lovely Fonseca, who's been absent in the early teasers, in her '40s era hair and makeup. Come check it out!

It was welcome news when Marvel announced that they had added the very talented Lyndsy Fonseca (Nikita) to the cast of their upcoming mini-series Agent Carter. She is set to play Angie Martinelli, an aspiring actress and friend to Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter. This won't be Fonseca's first foray into the comic-book genre as she had a prominent role as Katie Deauxma in the first Kick-Ass film as well as a cameo in the sequel, she also most recently starred in the critically acclaimed Nikita where she played the ass-kicking Alexandra Udinov.

Earlier today, Fonseca posted a photo of herself from the Agent Carter set and while it doesn't really count as an "official" look, it does give us a look at Fonseca in her '40s era hair and makeup giving us a better idea at what to expect when we see her on screen in January. You can check out the photo below and remember to sound off with your thoughts in the usual spot!

It's 1946 and peace has dealt Peggy a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy finds herself stuck doing administrative work when she would rather be back out in the field; putting her vast skills into play and taking down the bad guys. But she is also trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers – aka Captain America.

When old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, Marvel's "Captain America: The First Avenger”) finds himself being framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons to anyone willing to pony up the cash, he contacts Peggy - the only person he can trust - to track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons and clear his name. He empowers his butler, Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy, “Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World”), to be at her beck and call when needed to help assist her as she investigates and tracks down those responsible for selling these weapons of mass destruction. But Jarvis, who is a creature of habit and sticks to a rigid daily routine, is going to have to make some major life changes if he’s going to be able to keep up with Peggy.

If caught going on these secret missions for Stark, Peggy could be targeted as a traitor and spend the rest of her days in prison – or worse. And as she delves deeper into her investigation, she may find that those she works for are not who they seem, and she might even begin to question whether Stark is as innocent as he claims.

Agent Carter will feature:
Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter
Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark
James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis
Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson
Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa
Shea Whigham as Roger Dooley
Lyndsy Fonseca as Angie Martinelli
Kyle Bornheimer as Ray Krzeminski
Costa Ronin as Anton Vanko
Bridget Regan as Dottie
Meagen Fay in an undisclosed role

Agent Carter premieres January 6, 2015

Agent Carter should pull together an all female team. Agent Carter, Blonde Phantom, Silver Scorpion, Sun Girl, Miss America, Spitfire. All 40s era female heroes. That would be awesome.

What, an Italian character, in a, what, Marvel product? What the holy heck? Have they gone mad? O_o

(I'm Italian, if you haven't realized...half anyway.)

Even the Marvel haters have to admit that they have an excellent track record of casting beautiful women. I can't wait to see this show.

Nobody on this site reads comics do they? Some one should pick up this weeks Axis it sure will stir some arguments between Marvel comics fans and Marvel movie fans! Yes there is a difference between the two

Axis #7 turns out that in the marvel 616 QuickSilver and Scarlet Witch aren't mutants anymore and Magneto isn't their pops either .. They didn't say much else but I'm pretty sure at some point marvels is gonna make them Inhumans.. More marvel changing continuity for the sake of their movies... The whole Axis event was terrible too!

@Lizardking310 I haven't bothered with AXIS. I've skipped straight on to Time Runs Out which is proving very interesting so far as it is set during next May-- long after Axis and all the rest. The Fantastic Four are disbanded by then and Invisible Woman has been working for S.H.I.E.L.D. for 2 months meanwhile we have a smart hulk/banner-brained Hulk? Not sure yet but he's billed as "Doc Green". Oh! And Sunspot BOUGHT A.I.M. The whole organization. He now owns controlling shares. I guess it proves you can solve a world terrorist agency problem by throwing money at it. That and Cannonball/Smasher had a mutant baby. 6 months from now is a very interesting time.
