In another interview with TvLine, Hayley Atwell talks more about Peggy Carter's ambitions, and she says Peggy is carrying out the work of the 'love of her life', “I think she found in him the love of her life, the greatest man that she’s ever known in terms of his character and his values." She then adds, "And in that grief we see her own personal struggles and her own kind of exhaustion, but also the determination to carry on his work.”

She then goes on to tell the things we should expect going into season 1, “Everyone on the planet is only strong until a certain point, everyone has a trigger, and this season really shows that. [In Peggy] we don’t have someone who is superhuman in her abilities."  She then tells how the lost of Steve Rogers affects her life in the season, "We see her cry, we see her private moments, we see her loneliness. We see the emotional and psychological costs of the position that she’s in and the loss that she’s had of Steve.” It sounds like the first season of Agent Carter won't disappoint! What do you think? Nice find, NightWatcher.

I'm really looking forward to see how she deals with Steve's "death" and picks up the pieces to her life. I adored the scene with old Peggy in The Winter Soldier, and even her brief newsreel snippet at the Smithsonian, but it really had to leave out a lot of the personal stuff that Peggy had to deal with in the immediate aftermath of The First Avenger.

Looks like the show will fill in a lot of the blanks. I have high hopes for this!

@EzioKenway1225 That's good. The whole "Case of the Week" business really hurt the first season of Agents of SHIELD, so it's good they're avoiding that with this.

Oh boy, I kind of hated most of season 1 haha. It got MUCH better in the last 6 or 7 episodes (whichever episode they first introduced Garret and Trip), but getting through all the episodes before that was tough.

Everything after the crossover with The Winter Soldier was excellent though. And season 2 was awesome. There's still a few nitpicks I have with season 2, but it's 10 times better than what season 1 was so I shouldn't complain haha.

She said "this season".
Are there going to be multiple seasons?
I thought it was a single run.
