Marvel’s Daredevil follows the incredible journey of Matt Murdock, the Man Without Fear. Blinded in a tragic accident as a boy and imbued with extraordinary senses, Murdock has a mission to clean up his gritty city. He sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York, where he fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.


Daredevil is set to premiere on Netflix on April 10th. The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson with Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Also starring are Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna, Bob Gunton as Leland Owlsley, Toby Leonard Moore as Wesley, Vondie Curtis-Hall as Ben Urich. Awesomeness personified. I love how Marvel has so many different genres within it's universe. Action-comedies, political thrillers, fantasy, sci-fi, drama...It's all good.

Just from the trailer alone it looks more serious and better than AoS and the CW kid stuff. So here's to hoping we get an adult CB TV show, on par with other shows in the Netflix stable, Walking Dead, etc etc. I'm so tired of the garbage out there (Flash leading the garbage, then arrow, AoS, A. Carter, etc)

@MercwithMouth Dude, exactly. And they can have multiple genres for their films and still have a synonymous and connected universe.

It finally looks like the other studios (making superhero films) are understanding this concept.

Liked the trailer and tone is amazing but there are issues.

Am I the only one who thinks Kingpin/Fisk looks way too skinny? I mean no one expects him to be Hulk size like the comics but he literally has no muscle on him in that picture. None at all.

And Charlie Cox, for however good an actor he may be, has the biggest baby face I've seen on any actor. It's distracting. He looks like a sclub. Hope his performance can make up for it because he literally does not look intimidating. Even as just a lawyer.

This looks better than all other comic book Tv shows out now. It also looks better than half the Comic Book movies out now. It looks like a 10-13 hours movie, and it's going to rule! I hope they keep his radar sense and not just heightened other senses. Daredevil is going to kick some major ass!

Coming from someone who appreciates both shows, if this series is as good as it looks then Arrow and The Flash may have to step up their game. This looks exceptional!

I wouldn't say the other studios are "understanding" the concept. Fox and Sony are both hamstrung to limited genres. They don't have the wealth of characters to work with. And I love the tones Fox has gone with for X-Men and now the FF. Sony has had some struggles tone-wise, but all the Spider-Man movies have similarities.

WB...if they'd make movies about other characters...I think they'd be fine on different genres. They just have to make sure they have different creative teams. Having the same director and writers for everything makes it harder to distinguish.
