DAREDEVIL: 5 Team-Ups We Desperately Need To See In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has confirmed Charlie Cox is the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Matt Murdock/Daredevil, but which heroes are we most excited to see this Man Without Fear team-up with?

We still don't know if the rumours about Charlie Cox making a cameo appearance as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home are true. However, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige did recently confirm that the actor is the Marvel Cinematic Universe's official Daredevil.

Cox played the Man Without Fear in three seasons of his own show and later teamed up with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones in The Defenders. Now, though, Daredevil is set to join an even bigger comic book world, and the stage is being set for some massive team-ups.

With that in mind, we're now looking at the big and small screen meetings this version of Daredevil needs to have in the MCU. From those he has a history with on the page to characters from the past who need to be reinvented, this list only scratches the surfaced of ol' Hornhead's MCU potential.

To take a look through this feature, all you guys need to do is hit the "Next" button below!

5. Black Widow (Yelena Belova)

Yes, we know the banner image features Natasha Romanoff, but that's not the Widow we're actually expecting to see the Man Without Fear cross paths with. A flashback could certainly make it happen, but that would rob the MCU of fully exploring Matt Murdock's dynamic with Black Widow (who, by necessity, would have to be Yelena Belova).

In the comic books, Matt first met Natasha in court when she was framed for murder. They soon fell for each other, even moving to San Francisco to fight crime together for a time.

They'd maintain an on-again/off-again romance for several years, and Florence Pugh's Yelena could quite easily fill this role in the MCU. Given the lack of baggage she has compared to Natasha prior to her death, this Widow and Daredevil could spark up a unique dynamic that the groundwork might soon be laid for if Echo meets Yelena in Hawkeye and later introduces the two.

4. Ben Urich

While we're certainly hoping Marvel Studios borrows some actors, characters, and ideas from Netflix's Daredevil, it would ultimately be better for them to not be beholden to anything that came before.

With that in mind, the opportunity is there to ignore Ben Urich's shocking death in the show's first season by rebooting the character and delivering a version more in line with his comic book counterpart. Matt and Daredevil's dynamic with The Daily Bugle reporter has always been an interesting one, especially as Ben figured out the hero's secret identity and chose not to publish it.

The investigative journalist has also proven himself a key ally in taking down Wilson Fisk, so it would be nuts to leave him on the shelf just because Marvel Television made the dumb decision to kill him off.

3. White Tiger

If Marvel Studios is looking to continue diversifying the MCU so that it better reflects our world, then Angela Del Toro should be a priority. The FBI agent found herself in Daredevil's world after being tasked with investigating the Man Without Fear, but was later presented with the opportunity to become a superhero in her own right.

Transformed into the heroic White Tiger thanks to a powerful amulet passed down by her uncle, Daredevil took Angela under his wing and taught her what it meant to be a vigilante.

She even ends up rescuing him, and is a great hero in her own right with the potential to take centre stage in a series of her own on Disney+. It feels like Marvel Studios is definitely expanding this street-level corner of the MCU, and introducing lesser-known characters like this one as part of ol' Hornhead's world just makes perfect sense.

2. She-Hulk

It's still very early days for Daredevil in the MCU, and we don't know whether he'll be part of Nelson & Murdock or a larger firm. If Marvel Studios wants to give the lawyer a fresh lick of paint, then why not have him work alongside Jennifer Walters as part of a team representing superpowered individuals?

That would give Matt a unique place in this shared world, and could even lead to a supporting role in the She-Hulk TV series coming to Disney+. Not having him at least make a cameo appearance would be madness, and these two superpowered lawyers have often battled each other...in the courtroom!

Whether they're on the same or different sides, there's limitless potential here, and how better to reinvent Daredevil than by having him share the screen with a superhero as unique as She-Hulk?

1. Spider-Man

Amy Pascal has claimed that another Spider-Man trilogy is in the works at Marvel Studios, but comments from Tom Holland have left us uncertain about just how much of a future he has as Peter Parker. With any luck, he is going to return in a series of solo movies and MCU cameos, one of which we're hoping will see the wall-crawler cross paths with the Man Without Fear.

Their dynamic in the comic books has always been fun, and assuming we do see Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the potential is there to then build on that relationship.

Regardless of whether Spider-Man's secret identity remains public information or the genie is somehow put back in the bottle, we're guessing the hero is about to become the street-level superhero from the comic books. That Spidey is viewed as a "menace" by the public thanks to J. Jonah Jameson, and it goes without saying we'd like Peter to help out battling The Kingpin!

Obviously Spider-Man, but She-Hulk and Echo would be fun to see as well. And speaking of co-appearances with those three, Kingpin has to be there as well
