Following that leaked version from New York Comic Con over the weekend, Marvel and Netflix have released the very first teaser trailer for season 2 of Daredevil. Get your first official glimpses of Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), Elektra (Elodie Yung) and more after the jump...

After a season 1 recap, the very first footage from Daredevil season 2 comes in around the 1:30 mark. There's shots of returning characters such as Foggy Nelson, Karen Page and, of course, Matt Murdock; and we also get our first look at Elodie Yung masking up as Elektra, and Jon Bernthal (well, his back anyway) as Frank Castle, AKA The Punisher. It's not much, but more than enough to whet appetites I'm sure you'll agree.

I agree with doom, we got the trailer for Daredevil about 2 months before the release for season 1, we are a month a way and no live action trailer for jessica jones, but probably 7-months away we get a mini trailer for season 2 of daredevil instead..........what is going on?

That's not really a "trailer" it's more like a promotional teaser that advertised that you should watch the first season because the second is coming out.

I like how the priest is back, his scenes with Matt were a joy.

Fisk is obviously going to have a presence this season. Does anyone else want Fisk to go against other MCU characters? He's the best villain by far
