Recently, at a special Netflix event in Los Angeles, Daredevil’s red suit costume was on display for everyone at the event to see. Thanks to Reddit user Empyrealist, we now have a great new images, giving us a close-up look at his iconic red costume! Check out the images below!


With Season one for Netflix’s Daredevil over, fans of the series will have to wait for the second season, which will air in 2016. After this, we’ll next see the blind vigilante in action in Netflix’s Defenders series where he will team up with Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron fist! Marvel's Daredevil, or simply Daredevil, is an American web television series created for Netflix by Drew Goddard, based on theMarvel Comics character of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise, and is the first in a series of shows that will lead up to a Defenders crossover miniseries. The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios, DeKnight Prods. and Goddard Textiles, with Steven S. DeKnight serving as showrunneron the first season, and Goddard acting as consultant. Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez will take over as showrunners for the show's second season.

The thing is; the suit does look better in the light than in the dark because you can really see the details of it. In the dark, it still looks great, but you miss out somewhat.

The suit is good but it could be a lot better if they went without the eye slits on it. It will be a hell of a lot more intimidating if he wore something like his suit from the first episodes but upgraded. Sort of like a Snake Eyes but with the mouth area open for him to talk.

This is why Marvel should have made the suit appear WAY earlier or saved it for the second season.

It simply takes a long time to get it right with all the micro-adjustments that need to be made.

Take a look at The Flash for example. It took them EIGHT episodes to get their suit right by making several modifications to the cowl.

"It initially took Gustin approximately 40 minutes to get into his costume, as the first cowl was prosthetic and had to be zipped and glued to his face. This was cut down to approximately 15 minutes by episode eight, when designers were able to develop a new cowl that easily slid over Gustin's face and locked into place.[5]" - Wikipedia

no. it's terrible. i may understand that the purpose for this suit was to make Matt stay alive while fighting crime but the design is just awful. Ninja costume 8/10 this 3/10. Horror. And it dosen't mater if it's day or night.

It's actually one of the most logical costumes ever

They had to keep all his senses wide open, that's why there are vents for his ears, and they wanted to make sure his sense of smell was intact, so they had to cut the face mask higher for his nose

You can tell a lot of thought went into the suit

I'm sure we'll get something else next season

Can't wait for Season 2

it may be practical and logical but the this looks really meh ... it hurts my eyes. Not to mention that if you look at Daredevil costume from comics, the horns are the only thing they kept. Even the colour is meh.

I finally finished Daredevil on Wednesday night. Absolutely phenomenal (although AoS is still my favourite CBTV show). But damnit I hate this suit. I don't like the two-color look, the nose piece is awful, and it didn't hang very well on Cox. It has no effect on my enjoyment of the show, but ugh. Awful costume. The black ninja costume is so much better.

I hear you, it was created by Melvin Potter (Gladiator) on the show, so it makes some sense

But, I like the Black costume more, even though I knew it wouldn't last, his movements and the action in that costumer looked amazing, that suit was so basic and slick

I kind of want a suit that is a little more slick next season too

Every time I see this come up before the show starts, I have hope of what's to come for the suit
