Netlfix's Marvel TV Shows Arriving On Disney+ Is Reportedly A "Possibility"

The cancellation of Daredevil left fans reeling and while we recently learned that Disney can't do anything with the characters for at least two years, that doesn't mean they can't come to Disney+ one day.

Over the past couple of months, Netflix has cancelled Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Daredevil, and common sense says that Jessica Jones and The Punisher can't be too far behind. For reasons which aren't entirely clear (but may boil down to Netflix trying to hurt Disney now they're launching their own streaming service), the relationship between the two companies is clearly ending.

While fans are hopeful that these characters will be given the chance to live on elsewhere, we recently learned that it's going to be at least two years before Marvel is legally able to do anything with them regardless of whether that's on Disney+ or in an ABC series like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

However, Disney's Kevin Mayer has now revealed that while there haven't been any formal discussions to bring the Netflix heroes to the new streaming service, it's an idea that's definitely in play right now. "They are very high-quality shows," he noted. "We haven’t yet discussed that, but I would say that’s a possibility."

That sounds somewhat promising, right?

Honestly, it's hard to say but it's nice to know that Disney is at least open to the idea. With Marvel Studios taking control of TV shows revolving around characters like Loki and the Scarlet Witch, we could even see Kevin Feige take charge of the Man Without Fear and his fellow Defenders.

I know people have been down on anything non-Daredevil/Charlie Cox, but I think its all worth the trouble of saving if it can be.

IMO castings like Mike Colter and Krysten Ritter are no different than castings like Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye or Mark Ruffalo as Bruce. As in, all of those guys may not be 100% in their roles, but they can sure bring it when they do.

If Netflix is dumb enough to attack Disney that way, they will be soon devoured by the kraken.
