Thanks to Marvel_Spider, we have some new information about Marvel's 13-episode Netflix series, Daredevil. While doing some digging online he came across information regarding some roles that are being cast for the series, but more importantly, an audition video. That video may contain dialogue from an actual scene that will appear in the show. It is violent and comedic, as a white collar crook may have cut off more than he can chew. It seems like he is being pressured by Kingpin to do his own dirty work - cut off anoter man's hands. Neat!
"I found some info about the pilot. Its codename is "Bluff", and is scheduled to shoot between June 30th and July 28th. The following link has a list of talent they're looking for, including boxers.

In addition to the above casting, they're looking for people who could play "Thugs and Arms Dealers" in their 20s-30s, as well as 18-23 year old College Students for a scene filming on Thursday. So it does look like filming has quietly started." - Marvel_Spider

Charlie Cox ("Boardwalk Empire") will play Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio ("Men In Black") will play Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin, Elden Henson (“Mighty Ducks”) will play Foggy Nelson and Rosario Dawson ("Sin City") will play a beautiful female character.

I'm most excited for Iron Fist. Hopefully they introduce the Punisher in one of the Netflix shows. The new Punisher series has updated his story to make him an Afghanistan vet instead of a Vietnam vet so they can just do the same thing.

Ouch. Sawing off a guys hands... nice. Good old brutality that is needed for a good crime fighter show...

Although, I thought the girl that was talking to him was a pretty good actress just with her voice. Man, she seemed like a pretty intimidating villain.

The other guy was a good normal henchman though.

I hope that they get Donnie Yen for choreographer on the fight scenes for all the shows. Love Yen's movies, he did Blade 2 and Kill Zone some of the best fights ever.

I might be the only one who liked Affleck as Daredevil, Michael Clarke duncan as Kingpin and Collin Farrel as Bullseye...

I even liked Garner as Elektra... on a second thought I think I liked the whole movie (director's cut) and I'm going to give thos show a chance it looks good so far.

I gave a chance to Agents of shield and after watching the complete first season I am glad to have given the show a chance, it is just awesome!

Having the feeling that this show is gonna turn as good as Shield

I know Marvel movies are all about including a comedic tone, but I really don't think Daredevil needs any ham fisted humor.

The shaky dialog aside... The tone of it, the violence, the intimidation, the pure criminality, the horrible situation. .. THATS WHAT I WANT IN A DD SHOW! I want the stories that should be gritty and violent to be gritty and violent.

@karmatron.. I liked it to. It could have been better but I liked it. Was mad that Kingpin was defeated in 1 movie but whatever. It was close to being good, just a bit off. I think this time around we will be very happy.

@SuperiorMrGod

I do not think they are on that route with DD.

This seems just the right amount of humor, not forced.

More like a mix of Winter Soldier and Shield which to me is great
