Marvel's THE DEFENDERS Releases New Clip Featuring "Old Friends" Reuniting In A Very Unfriendly Manner

It seems there's history between Stick and Alexandra as revealed in another brief scene from the upcoming Defenders miniseries.  But just how far back does that history go?

There's been hints in the clips, trailers and interviews leading up to the show's Friday release that insinuate that Alexandra has been around for a long, LONG time. That's led to fan speculation that The Defenders will eventually reveal Alexandra's true identity as either Mephisto, the Beast of the Hand, a female version of Alexander Bont or someone else.  Who do you think Weaver is truly playing? Let us know in the comment section below.

Other micro-clips released so far include a meeting between Foggy and Luke Cage and the Daughters of the Dragon getting acquainted.

All epsiodes of The Defenders arrive on Netflix at Midnight, August 18.

“Marvel’s The Defenders” follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal - to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.

I'm really wondering how the show will shape up for me. The last trailer was more in line with what I want the show to be, but I'm cautiously optimistic. I really hope this is the team up we were promised. Even if it's just below DD s1 quality, I'm good, but I'm hoping it's matched or higher.
