DD deserves a Movie!

Movie??? Haha if Marvel Studios gave him a movie now it would be a comedy and DD doesn't deserve a comedy. I think his fate is better at Netflix, they have done some good shows.

I'm so excited for these series! FINALLY Daredevil and Luke Cage and Iron Fist and Jessica Jones this like awesome best announcement ever after The Avengers and Batman vs Superman!

DD belongs in tv. There is no good way to make a 2hr movie about him without butchering his best moments.

They need to make these shows an hour long per episode!

DD should have got his own show on a real TV network.

I have an idea:

I'm completely cool with where the film rights are for all characters in the marvel universe. I can understand that most people want the rights to revert back to Marvel/Disney but I say "Why?" Right now Marvel/Disney is struggling with keeping solid choices of directors for their films and along with the each of them comes movies that flop pretty hard (towards pleasing the fans not financial wise) but to me it's not all about money, sure you'll get an extraordinary chance of getting more films but at what cost of ruining specific characters story arcs and plot?

All studios have made films that totally made fans angry and disappointed but lately Sony and fox are really trying to get their character driven heroic films back up to parr while Marvel/Disney are making successful films (financial wise) but pretty bad/lazy storytelling (Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World)

Each studio is getting their fair share and if all these characters go back to Marvel/Disney there's a chance that we will hardly see all of our favorite heroes each summer in theaters.

I wouldn't mind a live X-Men or Spider-Man TV series done by marvel but right now I think they need to do better with the quality of their films than just the quantity of them. Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Age of Ultron are the only two films I still have faith in for phase 2.

Dr. Strange needs his own show, cancel Jessica Jones! Rather see Jesica Drew instead of Jones anyway!

Years ago, I was addicted to Dexter. I haven't watched past season 5, because I didn't really like the direction it was going.
Last night, I flipped on Netflix and checked out Dexter again. They only have the first four seasons, so I had to stick with what I've already seen (which is fine).

First season. Just after the audience has gotten the big reveal that Rudy (Deb's boyfriend) is the Ice Truck Killer, Dexter learns he had a father in Dade City who just recently died of a heart attack. Rudy insists that Deb go up there with her brother to give some kind of moral support. What's really awesome about the episode is watching it AFTERWARDS, knowing what happens later, but seeing it all play out in the details. Rudy is actual Brian, and Dexter's biological brother. He killed his own father, making it look like a fatal heart attack, just to arrange the meeting between him and Dexter.

We would never have seen that happen in a movie.

To say that Daredevil deserves a movie is like suggesting a movie is the end-all of things. Imagine what could happen in a Daredevil show.

Defenders should be on the big screen with Dr. Strange as the leader.

Even though there will be four individual shows leading into the Defenders miniseries, I hope they will throw in one or two more team members: Valkrie, Spiderwoman or Ghost Rider.

I'm excited for this series. I'd take a netflix show over a film every day. The thing is, with netflix the shows will be longer. So we could possibly be looking at 13 1 hour episodes. That is 13 hours of Daredevil. Why would you want 2 hours?

I would have agreed with your statement about six months ago, but after seeing WB involved in making the Lego Marvel game I am sure WB is open to anything.

Then again WB may not want anything Marvel on HBO.
