According to a new report, it seems that Marvel's Inhumans television series will begin shooting in about two months. Production Weekly registered in its weekly report that the show start its production in March, with shooting to take place in Chicago and Los Angeles.

Inhumans will premiere on September 26, but before that, on September 1, the first two episodes will be shown in IMAX theaters in the US. The series will consist of eight episodes which ABC plan to broadcast every Tuesday with no interruptions. The story will not be an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D spin-off which first introduced the Inhumans to TV. What we know about the plot so far is that the series will take place in modern days as we follow the Inhuman Royal Family, which will feature characters such as Black Bolt, Medusa and Gorgon. The show will have scenes on Earth as well as on the Moon, the latter being the location of the Inhuman city Attilan.

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965, the Inhumans are descendants of humans who were genetically modified by the Kree to serve as weapons.

I think this will be great! Not sure why it's not connected to the rest of the Marvel TV continuity...maybe they'll change that after a while, especially if it's successful. I understand if a lot of the story takes place on the moon that crossovers with Shield would be scarce, but it should be in the same continuity, and there's no reason they can't crossover in a second or third season.

All I ask of you, Scott Buck, is to cast Alexandra Breckenridge as Medusa.

(Oh, and to make this a great series... But that starts with Medusenridge.)

I feel that they want a super-powered game of thrones sort of thing. Maybe that's just my take on it but that might be played better on Netflix than public broadcasting.

Its cool that they are making an Inhumans TV show and I have not been disappointed with anything Marvel has done, TV or Movies (I liked Agent Carter too), but I just feel let down that they aren't making Inhumans into a Movie. I will give the show a chance though, just thinking about would could have been.
