Ever since Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) debuted on their respective Marvel Netflix shows, fans have been clamoring for a
Daughters of the Dragon team-up.
The Defenders first hinted at this pairing, and
Luke Cage season 2 firmly established the two as a formidable force. Colleen has been training Misty to cope with the loss of her arm and, when the two go for a drink, they team-up to teach some manners to unruly bar patrons.
With
Iron Fist season 2 dropping on Netflix in exactly one month, fans won't have to wait very long to see more from Colleen and Misty. Missick will be appearing alongside Henwick, and it is said that the upcoming season will formally introduce and name their pairing on screen as the
Daughters of the Dragon.
Missick, who is currently helping to promote the second season of
Iron Fist, spoke about the influence Misty will have on Colleen. She also gave a little tease for the continued evolution of the Daughters:
Season two with Misty and Colleen is like a small flower that you’re watching blossom into a fist. You see these two women who are strong, who are badass in their own right but now they’re leaning on each other for emotional support. The same way she came and helped Misty pick herself up off the floor in season two of Luke Cage, you see that in season two of Iron Fist.
