Marvel's Ironheart has added another new cast member, with newcomer Harper Anthony set to join Dominique Thorne (Riri Williams) in the upcoming Disney+ series.

Anthony is a 9-year-old model, actor, entrepreneur, philanthropist and scholar who has previously appeared in Vulture City and NBC’s Chicago Med. His Ironheart role is being kept under wraps for now, but given his age, there's a chance he's playing Riri's younger brother (she only has a sister in the comics) or nephew.

In The Heights actor Anthony Ramos will also appear in an undisclosed role that's said to be "similar to how Jonathan Majors was introduced as Kang To Conqueror in Loki, where he is expected to not only have a big role in this series but in future Marvel projects as well."

The son of Iron Man baddie Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges) and The Hood are also expected to make their live-action debuts during the show, but that's yet to be confirmed.

We still don't know a whole lot about Ironheart, but the series is expected to stick pretty closely to Riri's comic book origin as "the creator of the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man." There's also been some speculation that the character could be ret-conned as a Wakandan since she'll also appear in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but we still don't have anything to back that up.

Super hyped for this and Armor Wars, not even a huge Iron Man fan but his rogues gallery is a really cool visual even if it's just guys in Armor mostly. The Hood is also a really cool addition.

I hope they don’t wait until the last episode to give her the full suit.

Wait... she has little heart symbols all over her shit? I dont remember that. Not sure how I feel about that design. No wait..... I don't like it.

I was under the impression it was just Stark looking armor fitted for her, that she builds or something. But I hate the little hearts.

Couldn't Kevin Feige have picked a better character?

I wonder what the consensus is on the D+ experiment behind the scenes at MS.

Entrepreneur, philanthropist and scholar? How the hell did he manage that?

Anyway, still hoping Anthony Ramos is playing Johnny Storm. After In The Heights I think he can do it

Not sure anyone on here (from some of the comments I have read) have actually read the comics this came from. The original run wasn't bad at all and if they keep to that premise, although that would be kind of hard since RDJ is no longer part of the MCU, it would be a show with a lot of potential. Hopefully Feige and company won't let the show go too far off the rails. But in "Feige" I trust. With all Disney+ shows, I'm willing to give it a shot with an open mind. Fingers crossed this will be good.
