First Look At Mike Colter As 'Luke Cage' In AKA JESSICA JONES

People were mildly skeptical of Colter's casting as it was believed he wasn't huge enough to play Luke Cage. Well, from these set photos, it seems we can put that assumption to rest.

Several set photos have surfaced from the set of AKA Jessica Jones, Marvel's next foray into the Netflix format but few have been overly exciting. Now though, we have our first look at the character of Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter! The show is set for release toward the end of this year.

As I mentioned before, I really hope Marvel don't tone down his awesome personality for the show. From the interviews given, it seems like Marvel is trying to play him as 'mysterious' but I like my Luke brash, but practical fun, but also intelligent.

I don't know Mike Colter well enough to say anything here. Still wish they'd changed Ritter's hair, otherwise I'm seriously excited about this after Daredevil!

I kinda don't like him being involved.
I want this to be Jessica's solo journey and not introducing the love of her life so soon since he's not just a "love interest" like Karen Page, he's another superhero.

I just hope Rosario Dawson is his main love interest in the Luke Cage show

It's kind of early to worry about that considering we don't know what level of involvement he'll even have at this point. For all we know, he'll have the same level of involvement that SIF does in the AoS show.

I doubt this will be a 'team-up' show, and I am sure Jones will be the main feature. Marvel knows what they're doing.

They won't give Luke Cage two shows.
That would be a bizarre move, don't you think?

As much as I absolutely loved Daredevil, I hope there's not a lot of torture and violence just for the sake of it in this show.
