Just like Daredevil & Jessica Jones before it, Marvel's Luke Cage premiered to rave reviews last week and even managed to shut down Netflix for a few hours on its first day, which is just what the Power Man ordered.

The show's soundtrack has been receiving a lot of love this past week and it looks like Marvel knew the score was straight fire going in because they've just announced an Original Soundtrack Album for Season 1, which is the fastest they've ever released a soundtrack album for one of their Netflix series. It will contain fifty-one original compositions from Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammed and will also contain tracks from Raphael Saadiq, Faith Evans, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, and Charles Bradley. The Method Man track "Bulletproof Love," which was released as a single last week, will also be featured.

It goes on sale tomorrow, so be sure to check into iTunes or Amazon at midnight for the link.

Saving this show for when nothing else is on my Sky Planner, same as DD season 2 which I only finished a couple of weeks ago.

Excited for this though.

Has anyone seen Westworld yet?

@RorMachine - It started good but it did drag a bit once the "alien " bullet stuff was introduced . Same with Jessica Jones also and DD before it . Maybe 10 episodes should be the mark and save some for the next season

@RorMachine - funny cause if the quality tha the first half of the season had carried until the end then this would've blown Both seasons of DD and JJ out the water lol

@MagnusShadowX - @XelCorp @RorMachine

The First Half is pretty good, far from perfect but pretty good, they should have erased Diamondback or left Cottonmouth like main villain. Because Diamondback was a piece of shit villain.

I really like the theme, of the black guy trying to be good and redeem himself (Luke), while in the other side we have Cottonmouth who had all this future and talent but the crime and streets destroy him from inside, later when Stockes die, they introduce Diamonback and it was worst.

They should have erase Diamondback and add elements of him to Cottonmounth, because the only decent villains Luke Cage was Cottonmouth and Black Mariah...
