Theo Rossi And Rosario Dawson Join The Cast Of Marvel And Netflix's LUKE CAGE
The trailer for Jessica Jones really should be with us any day now, especially if the plan is for it to debut on Netflix later this year. In the meantime though, we have some big Luke Cage casting news as Theo Rossi joins as [SPOILER] and Rosario Dawson books a return...
We know that we'll first meet Mike Colter's Luke Cage in Jessica Jones, but the actor will soon be busy shooting his own series. Well, the cast continues to grow today as Deadline reports that Sons of Anarchy star Theo Rossi has been added to the cast of Luke Cage as the villainous Shades (a.k.a. Alvarez). Little is know about this interpretation of the character at this point, but he's described as being "relentless and menacing, smooth and manipulative, street smart and controlling."
Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that Rosario Dawson will be reprising her Daredevil role as Claire Temple. Her and Luke became an item in the comics, so does that mean we should forget seeing him hook up with Jessica? We'll just have to wait and see. In Luke Cage, Colter plays a wrongly accused man who, granted superstrength by a sabotaged experiment, escapes prison to become a superhero for hire.
