THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER are reporting that Charles S. Dutton has been cast in the FX pilot based off the hit comic series Powers created by Brian Michael Bendis:

The actor, best known for playing the title character in Fox's 1990s dramedy Roc, will play Captain Cross, the head of a homicide police department where detectives Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim investigate crimes involving those with superpowers.

Dutton's most recent work was in the 2010 feature Legion

Roc was a B.A. show back in the day. Jamie Fox was on it. Charles is a great actor I think he'll do well.

i thought he was better known for his role in alien 3,never heard of roc.

anyway good actor,great addition to the cast.

Excellent. This is a good start.

Just don't screw it up by casting a hunky block of wood and a brainless former model as the leads.
