MARVEL'S RUNAWAYS Soundtrack Out Today, Original Score Release Set For Later This Month

Outside of Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel's Runaways has the best use of music in the MCU. Though that may sound like a bold claim, those who watch it weekly would probably agree with the opinion. Its use of music is a character, one that sets the tone of the ambient young adult series while providing the eerie and myserious undertones needed. Scored by This Is Us' Siddhartha Khosla (which also has fantastic music), the soundrack is a must-listen for fans of the series.

Recently renewed for a second season, the music of the series is consisted of two albums. The Marvel's Runaways Soundtrack is out today (January 12), and mainly includes pre-existing music used throughout the first season. The Marvel's Runaway's Original Score digital album, with music made for the series, will be released on January 26th.

Check out the setlist for the former below:

  • "Marvel's Runaways" Main Title – Siddhartha Khosla
  • "May I Have This Dance" – Francis and the Lights
  • "Cane Shuga" – Glass Animals
  • "King Charles" (Clean) - Yungblud
  • "Drinkee" – Sofi Tukker
  • "Ocean Eyes" (Blackbear Remix) - Billie Eilish
  • "Beat Goes On" – Lizzy Land
  • "All My Heroes" – Bleachers
  • "Antidote" (live version) - Emily Wells
  • "Fuerza" (feat. Nani Castle) - Tony Quattro
  • "Beyond a Mortal" – Austra
  • "Long Life" – Bombadil
  • "Blanket Me" – Hundred Waters
  • "Gert's Lullaby" – Siddhartha Khosla

Had some minor quibbles (Wilders should be the leaders -- or at least more on top of things dangit), but overall I enjoyed it as well. I like that they didn't blow their wad and introduce the Gibborim in the first season.

Definitely can see three good seasons out of this.

Ugh, need to see this, heard really good things about it!!!

Side note: I have begun my mcu rewatch for infinity war, saw iron man and the incredible yesterday, at this rate, i think i can fit in the netflix shows and all of agents of shield also, even tho they might not factor into infinity war

@ConnorHawkeye - I think The Incredible Hulk his Marvel's most underrated movie. I've always been a big Hulk fan so, maybe I'm biased. I just really enjoyed it.

Theme song is great. I wans't sure if this comic was going to work as a tv show but it did and I'm glad I watched it. Happy that it's getting a second season as well. Hopefully they have more Old Lace as well.
