SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW Deals With THE INCREDIBLE HULK Fallout And Sets Up Huge MCU Storyline - SPOILERS

In The Incredible Hulk, Emil Blonsky took a version of the Super Soldier serum that transformed him into Abomination. After trying to kill the Jade Giant, the villain was imprisoned and we didn't see him again until Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Today's episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law establishes that Blonsky has reformed and now hopes to be freed. Jennifer Walters (well, She-Hulk) is tasked with fighting his case, and calls Bruce Banner to check if he's okay with her representing his old enemy. Smart Hulk reveals that he received a letter from Abomination a number of years ago and says they've put their differences aside.

He also points out that he's "literally" a different guy now after their clash in 2008, a cheeky nod to the fact that it was Edward Norton who played Banner in that movie before Mark Ruffalo replaced him in The Avengers. Jen even laughs at this, quickly breaking the fourth wall to look at the audience.

As for The Hulk, it appears Marvel Studios is indeed setting the stage for a huge new storyline.

It's revealed that he's now in space aboard a ship that appears to be heading back to Sakaar. We don't find out why, but common sense suggests he's returning to the planet to meet his son Skaar. Whether we're getting a true Planet Hulk movie or World War Hulk remains to be seen, but it's clear something significant is being set up for the Green Goliath.

Talking to The Direct, Head Writer Jessica Gao says, "God knows what Hulk got up to in the years he was [on Sakaar], so he’s gotta go back and handle some off-world things that happened during that time."

Back on Earth, news breaks that Abomination has escaped when footage of him fighting Wong in Shang-Chi's fight club leaks, putting Jen in quite the predicament.

What are your hopes for The Hulk following She-Hulk: Attorney at Law?

All I want to know is what cell provider Bruce is on. I need what he's on. Lol.

Was another solid episode though keeping with the tone. Good to see Roth back. Hopefully he stays a villain though.

@UniqNo - Seriously, the last time I was in space my reception was SO crappy and I was trying to call my mom to tell her that I was in space but she thought that I said that I was shitfaced and she though that I was just out at a bar and hung up on me. So F**k you Verizon.

Good episode, glad to see larry appleton, and the joke about being a whole new person was good.

Looks like those plot leaks are true. Marvel’s got a serious Phase 4 leak issue going on.

@PlusUltra - Yeah man. I mentioned this a couple weeks ago. What is going on? Marvel used to be secretive about everything. We only knee what they wanted us to know, nand not a single detail more.

But ever since Endgame it's like they can't stop anything from leaking. Endgame is the first time I really remember seeing a full leak of one of their movies before it released. And ever since then it's like nothing is kept secret.

@PlusUltra - Somehow I'm able to visit this site fairly often and still avoid the leaks. Living the dream.

@CorndogBurglar - Marvel has gotten too big is my guess. The amount of third party involvement for essentially 5 hours of content in a year vs 30 hours of content in a year is going up astronomically. Unless Marvel runs every part of the process in house, there’s just too many cooks in the kitchen.

@PlusUltra - It'll be the day when the MCU can truly surprise me again

@CorndogBurglar - I dunno, I've seen accurate leaks since at least The Dark World. Even Iron Man 3.

That was a really solid episode, I thought. Just really felt like it sold the show's real vibe better than the origin did.

@Spock0Clock - this was bad. First episode was good. This was just a complete slog. And then it was over. None of the humor was funny either. Which is insane because that's basically the show.

@Spock0Clock - The episode was okay, definitely not on par with the first, but the family gathering was stomach churning at best. Just dumb.
