SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW Star Reveals Whether HulkKing Still Has Powers Following Chaotic Finale

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star Jon Bass has revealed whether "HulkKing" is still powered up following last week's finale and also reveals where he looked for inspiration when it came to playing an "incel."

In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's finale, it was revealed that Todd was the "mastermind" behind the Jennifer Walters hate campaign on the Reddit-like website, The Intelligencia.

While fans had theorised that The Leader might be "HulkKing" - or at least manipulating him for his own nefarious means - the truth was that Todd just hated being spurned by Jen following their date. Having acquired her blood, the villain transformed into Hulk-Todd thanks to a handy concoction, though that was all undone when She-Hulk confronted K.E.V.I.N.

Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Todd actor Jon Bass confirmed that those fourth-wall-breaking shenanigans mean he no longer has Hulk powers.

"Crazier things have happened in the MCU," he added, teasing the potential return of Hulk-Todd. "People have come back from death. So I think Todd can grab another vial of blood. As a billionaire - as we know, in real life, they don’t spend too long in jail - so I think there’s room for Todd to grow into more evil ways."

"Todd’s got very few things on his mind. But one of them is revenge," Bass teased. "And we know he’s good at that."

The actor was also asked about previous comments in which he called Todd a "douchey incel" and where his inspiration came from. "I mean, it is pretty easy. It’s because it’s right there in our culture. It’s not something that you need to research. We live with it every day."

"If you’re on the Internet, and you like Marvel stuff, you’re gonna see it," he continued. "So yeah, it is pretty easy because it’s just something that we live with."

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's finale definitely took us to some unexpected, crazy places, but that also meant Jen was able to deal with Todd through the courts rather than with her fists.

@thereeljoefish - The real tragedy of Obama’s presidency was starting the drone war that killed 90% innocent people, starting wars in Syria, Libya and Yemen, Keeping Iraq and Afghanistan going, doubling the national debt, making healthcare more expensive, sending billions to banks, making race relations worse, prosecuting whistle blowers like Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden, increasing the spying on Americans, and making wealth inequality worse. But sure…tan suit 🙄

He used the "I" word. You can almost hear the keyboards clicking now faintly in the distance. A lone neckbeard hears a faint "on your right" as they all proceed onto the comicbook movie message boards. An army of Chads staring down Josh.

INCELS... ASSEMBLE!!!!

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - felt like the writers let the trolls really get to them. They made this show to get at incel men, while the majority of the viewers who arent incels got left with a piss poor story

@Matchesz - Meanwhile, those of us who are neither incel, troll, nor incel troll simply enjoyed the nice TV show.

Why couldnt they have possibly made abomination or titania proper bad guys, they really had to invent another degrading male character together in the same vein as Ralph Boner. Hulk Todd? Why does it seem like everyone in the writers room isnt an actual comic book reader and all have a chip on their shoulder against men. Not everyone cares about the message they have to send we just wanna see the comic book come to life on screen.

@Matchesz -
Cause this show is a massive 'frick you' to every aspect of its demographic audience.

• Male? The show views you as a pathetic incel or just a demeaned sex symbol that Jennifer can sleep with.
• Female? The show views you as a work obsessed wine mum stereotype where you are so pathetic that you only find meaning through having sex.
• Care about character development and set-up? Frick you, lets have Skaar show up randomly at the end despite them acknowledging this as something that's a bad thing to do
• Marvel fan? The show actively agrees with the detractors of the MCU by having the main character actively insult Kevin, the CGI be revealed as sh*t because they did not care about She-Hulk, the plot be sh*t because every Marvel film is stereotypical tropes.
• Fan of She-Hulk? The show actively tells you that it's plots were pointless to nonsensical garbage and ignores or drops all of them, they actively insult you for enjoying it..

@Scarilian - and yet, you seemingly watched all 9 episodes of it, or at least read all about it, because how else would you know this?

I could continue this list for others, but I'm fairly sure She-Hulk actively manages to insult almost everyone.

I will briefly acknowledge the extreme dislike of LGBTQ+ characters depicted in the show though, because that pissed me off the most because I found Episode 7 to be the best of the show in terms of making Jennifer somewhat likable.

• Nikki's actress confirmed the character as Bi-sexual yet in the show she's never demonstrated as this beyond a line of dialogue in Episode 4 about 'hetero life' in a mocking remark towards Jennifer.
• Todd briefly has an awkward flirty remark with Pug in episode 9 along with a few of the other Intellegencia members at the meeting
• Episode 7 is the most egregious actively having Man-Bull and El Aguila heavily labelled as gay characters given they flirt and are co-habitating; be viewed as disgusting, mocked, separated and dismissed by others in a circle group meant to be discussing feelings

@SATW42 -
After hearing about the spoilers for Episode 9 I binge-watched the entire series and finished with Episode 9 on release day.

When you hear of something so horrifically bad that it is a franchise destroyer, it needs to be experienced at least once. She-Hulk has killed the MCU for anyone who cared about characters, plot, story or anyone who liked any prior films.

@Matchesz - This show was literally a Byrne She-Hulk comic coke to life. Jen going to the writer’s room to complain about the story is a thing ripped from the pages.

@Scarilian - I like all those things, and I liked Sh-Hulk, and the MCU isn't dead to me. Best not to speak in absolutes. I'm sure you'll be skipping Black Panther as well. I look forward to your lack of opinions on the project, since the franchise is dead now.

@Scarilian - I am gay and I didn't pick up on Man-Bull an El Aguila being a couple lol I might need to re-watch that scene

He was good in the part, I‘lol say that. There was a post from the end of shooting with Tatianna in Jen’s bed and most of the cast from the finale around her and I immediately questioned what that douchey guy was doing in her bed and I had to remind myself that he’s an actor and not the character. That said, I don’t think we need a return of his character.
