SHE-HULK Rumored To Feature A Major Status Quo Shift For Bruce Banner/The Hulk In The MCU - SPOILERS

We know Mark Ruffalo will reprise the role of Bruce Banner/The Hulk in Disney+'s She-Hulk, but a new rumour suggests there are much bigger plans in place for the Green Goliath with cosmic implications...

In Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' mid-credits scene, Mark Ruffalo returned as Bruce Banner. Avengers: Endgame had established that the scientist had found a way to become a Hulk with his intelligence intact, so fans wondered whether using the Infinity Gauntlet had perhaps weakened the Jade Giant and permanently returned him to his human form.

We still don't have the answer, but footage from She-Hulk has seemingly confirmed that he will be back as Hulk in the Disney+ series. Now, the plot has thickened yet again with a claim from scooper MyTimeToShineHello that, "Hulk will leave Earth at the end of She-Hulk."

This was corroborated by another supposed scooper KC Walsh, and lines up with a leak of the Marvel Studios Spoilers Subreddit last year. Why would the Jade Giant leave Earth? Remember that it's previously been reported that She-Hulk is going to introduce Skaar, the son Hulk conceived on Sakaar in the Planet Hulk comic books.

This could definitely be enough to make Bruce decide he needs to return to the planet once ruled over by The Grandmaster, though Walsh would add that it's "A father and son round trip to get help." This suggests Skaar finds his way to Earth in She-Hulk, though your guess is as good as ours when it comes to what threat prompts them to leave the planet.

However, this could quite easily tie into those reports about plans for a World War Hulk movie!

Things should become clearer when She-Hulk hits Disney+ later this year, but it's beginning to look like the character will soon take centre stage in the MCU in a way fans have been longing for.

Are we sure mr. MyTime isn't just reproducing the other rumour? Because it may seem more credible now, but even after No Way Home I'm still sceptical buying into rumours

@bkmeijer - She was one of the more reliable scoopers for no way home as well as other marvel properties. So she is one to look into for more reliable scoops

@Mrcool210 - dude basically the entire plot of the movie had BEEN leaked by the time Mytimetoshine came around.

@bkmeijer - she's pretty much the single most reliable MCU scooper out there other than like Charles Murphy and Lizzie Hill.

Shame that's doing this clout-chasing shit now where leaks are attached to how follower milestones, she was better when she would randomly drop bombs

@PicolasCage @Mrcool 210 - its probably because I'm not in the scooper game, but I never heard of either scooper mentioned in the article.

Could be though there are reliable scoopers out there though, I'm not ruling out anything per se

That seems somewhat odd to me, seeing that the limited information we got from the show suggests that it's a "fairly" grounded kinda series.

But hey, what do I know...
Either way:

@SpaceAgent - nerdy scientist grows 5x his size and turns green when angry. Yep. Grounded
Lol jk

@Vigor - I don't want to speak for SpaceAgent, but I think he meant a smaller, more personal story. Not something so grand that would involve traveling through space.

But.....if this happens at the end of the series then the actual show itself can definitely remain smaller, and just end on this.

@CorndogBurglar - that's my thoughts. An end of the series lift off (no pun intended) into the next story

Thanks for the "Spoiler" tag on the title next to the Planet Hulk thumbnail...

@Turogalh - I mean, it’s not really about Planet Hulk, we got that adaptation already.

@Turogalh - I really don't see your logic here. Having a planet hulk image doesn't immediately indicate skaar will show up. And considering we already got the planet hulk adaptation in ragnarok, I really can't think of anything that image would have revealed, other than just it has to do with sakaar.

Hulk was like a kid during Ragnarok so this is kinda weird if he made a baby during that time.

But who knows, Hulks just keeps on getting an off-screen character progression (f*cking hate this) so...

@Doomsday8888 - Hulks Queen from Planet Hulk.

@Doomsday8888 - agreed.

Side note - didn’t Marvel come to some agreement w/ universal over Hulk? Thought there were developments that could lead to a solo Hulk movie, which is SUPER overdue.

Lastly, w/ “Son of Hulk” and all the other kids, they are definitely building up to a young avengers type movie.

Hulk is now a baby daddy in the MCU? lol

Hey Hulk...

Huh?

Remember the drunken after party on Sakaar when you met this woman?

...

Nooooo!!!!

Welp why not, not like he’s doing much on earth anyway. Still dont think I can forgive them for replacing Norton and completely neutering him in the infinity war series. He should of hulked out to lift the building off everyone then had his rematch with Thanos. Complete wasted opportunity, i dont get as a filmmaker or a writer with the Hulk at your disposal you dont think of that.

@Matchesz - I would've been great if he did come out of hulk buster like it was planned. Maybe he loses again with Thanos (should happen anyway since Thanos was meant to get all the stones) and then, instead of making him "scared" they just jump to Professor Hulk in Endgame but with a way to become savage (like a way to turn off Banner completely).

@Matchesz - I'll agree with infinity war, but replacing Edward Norton was completely necessary. He showed that he's a very difficult actor to work with given his passion to how he feels a movie should be. Don't get me wrong, that led to some great movies with Norton, but it's not something you want when building a cinematic universe.

Why is he going back to space? We already did that story in Thor: Ragnarok
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 1/10/2022, 12:01 PM
@kingjoeg - From the article it doesn't sound like it would be telling the Planet Hulk story. Like you said, that already happened in Ragnarok.

But it sounds like Hulk's son will show up on Earth, which causes Banner to return to and maybe go meet with the mother? Which will likely set off some other events.

@HydraB0b - Exactly. He's been nothing but a troublemaker.

I've lived in Tampa my whole life and have been a lifelong Bucs fan. When we picked him up I was torn, because he is good.

But then the fake Covid card thing happened, and Bruce still gave him another chance. Then he abandons his team mid-game?

Screw that guy.

@CorndogBurglar - don't know why I was surprised he threw Brady under the bus after letting the dude live in his home and getting him a contract when nobody else would give him one. Dude is a serious piece of shit.
