A Clean-Shaven Frank Castle Pays His Respects In These New Set Snaps From Marvel's THE PUNISHER

Filming has resumed on Marvel and Netflix's The Punisher in NYC, and we have some new images from the set. It looks like Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) has paid a visit to a barber since we last saw him...

The first round of set pics from Marvel and Netflix's The Punisher featured a more hirsute Frank Castle that we were used to seeing in season 2 of Daredevil, but the ultra-violent vigilante is looking more like his old self in the latest images from the New York City set.

Unfortunately the photos are copyrighted, but you can check them out HERE.

You'll also notice that Castle is carrying some flowers, which suggests he's just been or is on the way to someone's grave. Will he finally summon the nerve to pay his respects to his family, or can we expect another character close to Frank to meet their maker on the show? A certain someone who became very friendly with The Punisher during the events of Daredevil, perhaps?

The Punisher will blast his way onto Netflix later this year.

He was the best part of Season 2. This is my most anticipated of the Netflix shows.
