WANDAVISION: 10 Questions This Friday's Season Finale NEEDS To Answer - Possible SPOILERS

It's hard to imagine another Marvel Studios series on Disney+ generating as much discussion as WandaVision. The fan theories have been endless, and all eyes are now on this Friday's finale to deliver an ending which lives up to the lofty expectations those have created online.

Of course, as we head into the episode, it's fair to say we have tonnes of huge questions.

There are a lot of loose threads which need to be addressed, and while there may not be room for all of them to be done justice, not tackling these could make WandaVision an unsatisfying experience. Regardless, we've rounded up our biggest questions, and even done our best to figure out how they will be answered...and if they need to be (especially those based on those popular theories).

So, to take a look through these questions, all you guys need to do is click on the "Next" button below!

10. Who, Or What, Is The True Vision?

132322133331214454332312334344

Right now, there are two Visions in WandaVision. One was created by Wanda using Chaos Magic, while the other has been rebuilt from the original's remains. The former remembers nothing of his life before Westview, and if Marvel Studios is following the comics, the S.W.O.R.D. model is likely to be little more than a robot with no memories or emotions.

Truthfully, neither one of them is truly Vision, and though it's possible they could be merged, it feels like the Vision who died in Avengers: Infinity War is gone (and not coming back).

Common sense says we're getting a tragic ending where Wanda is forced to confront her grief and say goodbye to Vision once and for all. He was ultimately restored in the source material, but never needed to be powered by a Mind Stone there, so it's not looking good right now. Either way, WandaVision definitely needs to address the role of both Visions in the MCU.

9. What About That Wonder Man Concept Art?

132322133331214454332

In a featurette for the Disney+ series, blurry concept art in the background showed a character who was quite clearly Wonder Man. In the comics, Vision's brain is patterned after Simon Williams', and it's the answer to this could be as simple as his costume once being considered for the synthezoid's Halloween outfit.

What if there's more to it than that, though? One compelling possibility is that "Pietro" is, in fact, Simon, an actor Agatha Harkess brought to Westview to play Wanda Maximoff's brother.

His exposure to magic could be what gives him superpowers (similar to Monica Rambeau), or even what gives the struggling actor his "big break." That might be wishful thinking, but it will definitely be something of a disappointment if this apparent tease was just Marvel Studios trolling us.

8. Does Agatha Harkness Serve A Higher Power?

1323221333312144543323

Mephisto and Nightmare remain the two most popular suggestions for WandaVision's true big bad, but as we near the finale, it no longer feels like we're going to get a reveal as significant as that.

After all, would it not feel a little shoehorned in for Agatha Harkness to suddenly drop one of their names, or even for one of them to show up? There's just not that much time to make such a reveal work, and if it's Nightmare, for example, then they're only going to be set up for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Wanda created the Hex and brought back Vision, and Agatha started screwing things up by trying to find out what Wanda's deal is. Where does a "big bad" fit into that? We'd love a tease of some sort, but it's probably best not to get too excited about anything too significant in the finale.

7. Will We Learn The Identities Of These Two Key Characters?

13232213333121445433231

Perhaps we only have ourselves to blame for this, but much has been made of both Monica Rambeau's mystery aerospace engineer friend and the witness Jimmy Woo was looking for in Westview.

They surely have to be big names from the comic books, right? Look, it would be fun to see Reed Richards or Blue Marvel show up to apologise to Monica that their design didn't work, and even cooler if that witness was someone like Eric Williams, a villain better known as the sinister Grim Reaper.

Unfortunately, it feels like fans have picked up on throwaway mentions and giving them far too much meaning. Throwing these characters into WandaVision's finale doesn't make a whole lot of sense, though a namedrop might be one option. It seems most likely that the show just needed an excuse to bring Jimmy to town, and a cool space suit for Monica to re-enter the Hex in.

6. What Does It Mean To Be The Scarlet Witch?

132322133331214454332312

So, Wanda Maximoff has been using Chaos Magic this whole time, and is actually a being known as the Scarlet Witch. That's a pretty major reveal, and a great way of finally transforming this Avenger into who she is in the comics (which really hasn't been the case up until now).

This is clearly more than just a moniker, and likely explains why Wanda finds herself working alongside (or learning from) the Sorcerer Supreme in his upcoming sequel.

Yes, it's possible she'll be an antagonist, but also highly unlikely. Wanda needs to learn to control these abilities so another Westview doesn't happen, and who better to help with that than Doctor Strange? That's why we're banking on him making a surprise appearance in the finale!

5. Who Is "Pietro Maximoff"?

1323221333312144543323123

Evan Peters played Peter/Quicksilver in Fox's X-Men movies, but is this just a piece of tongue-in-cheek casting to get us all talking, or could that version of the hero been pulled into the MCU? The latter option seems likely, but it's also incredibly complicated (would that make him the MCU's first mutant?!).

Still, we wouldn't say no to seeing Quicksilver back in this shared world, and Marvel Studios would be wise to enlist an actor as talented as Peters on a longtime basis.

All we really know right now is that Agatha Harkness was responsible for bringing him into Westview, so it could be as simple as him being a townsperson forced into the role, or as complicated as her resurrecting the real Quicksilver in a new body. Either way, we need, and deserve, an explanation.

4. What's The Deal With Director Hayward?

13232213333121445433231233

Director Hayward is an asshole, that we do know. Likely left reeling by half the Earth vanishing, it seems he set out to bring Vision back online in order to protect the planet moving forward.

His motivations may have started off pure, but he's just another government bigwig looking to get his hands on the most powerful weapon possible. He even broke Vision's last wishes, and clearly didn't view the synthezoid as anything more than a sentient weapon made of expensive Vibranium.

It still feels like there's more to him than meets the eye, though, and he went from nice guy to villain pretty quickly. Could it be he's been replaced by a Skrull? That would nicely set up Captain Marvel 2 and Secret Invasion, and we'd be shocked if he doesn't factor heavily into the WandaVision finale.

3. Does Dottie Even Matter?

132322133331214454332312334

Emma Caulfield is a popular actress thanks to her work in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but is there more to Dottie than meets the eye? We've seen suggestions ranging from her being Mephisto to Clea, but just how realistic are they? In our opinion, not very, but she was key in those early episodes.

After all, Dottie seemingly saw through Wanda, and her bleeding hand broke through the sitcom's otherwise black and white setting. She even spearheaded that creepy "For the Children" chant (which we're also hoping might be addressed). Looking back now, though, and it seems that everything we saw was probably Agatha's doing, and Dottie was just a pawn.

So, does Dottie matter? We'll see, but here's hoping she gets at least one scene this Friday.

2. What's The Truth About "Ralph" And Señor Scratchy?

1323221333312144543323123343

Ralph is Agnes' mysterious husband, and speculation has run rampant that he might also be a big name character. However, now we know she was just playing along, common sense says that was all a lie just to fit into the sitcom reality Wanda Maximoff created around her in Westview.

However, Señor Scratchy may be another matter altogether.

In last week's episode, Agatha even talked about Wanda seeing both her, and the rabbit, as their true selves, and it was creepy as hell when the bunny ate that bird/bug. Comic book fans are convinced the villain's son is trapped in there...or that it's Mephisto's way of viewing what's happening on Earth. If it's either of those options, that's a heck of a lot to address in one episode!

1. Was This All Just To Set Up Doctor Strange 2?

13232213333121445433231233434

We really hope not!

If nothing else, it looks like WandaVision will deal head on with Wanda's grief, and help her move past her grief over losing Vision. Throw in the fact she's about to become the Scarlet Witch as well, and it would be unfair to say that the series is little more than a glorified prequel to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Still, we wouldn't be shocked if a cliffhanger ending is on the cards, and if any sort of villain reveal is left unresolved until the Sorcerer Supreme's sequel arrives in theaters next year.

Some of these questions are silly, but the show absolutely doesn't NEED to answer this question

What About That Wonder Man Concept Art?

You saw an image in a BTS video, and not on the set but with other concept art and you think the show's narrative NEEDS to explain why that image was in that video?!

@lordSTALE - but this cameraman was wearing a shirt that matches the color scheme of this random comic character. What does that mean? I need answers dangit.

@Origame - That Grim Reaper helmet is exactly the same

"If we don't get an explanation for this Easter egg, I'm going to be very disappointed 😠"

It goes by so fast, I needed someone else to point it out to me, and people think it's important.

It's like those people who twist themselves into knots trying to make ALL of the Pixar movies fit into the same universe, just because they leave Easter eggs to future and previous movies in each film. SMH 🙄

I never thought Dottie was anyone

I know there’s been plenty of fan-generated hype over it, but didn’t Teyonah Parris herself say she can’t wait for fans to see who the engineer friend is? Same with Bettany’s comment, the comic book fans hyped up plenty regarding Mephisto but some of it has definitely been fueled by the actors
